I like to grow zinnias from seeds. They are easy because I can put the seeds directly into my flower bed - no need to start the seeds early and transplant. I plant a variety that attracts butterflies. When I was younger, I had a big garden. Now I grow one tomato and one pepper plant in the bed at the back of my house.
The fabric will start to "unravel" as it is washed and dried and will become soft. WOuld not be the first project I would want to do. I am glad it is you and not me? Favorite thing to grow? not too much into flowers, but I would plant sunflowers. Peas - - I like to eat them raw, pods and all (except the cap and tip, of course). My uncle told me that it takes a college education to kill a nasturtium - - those are pretty, with lots of colors. I worked in a greenhouse that started garden plants one season. I liked doing that. I like watching things grow.
Love to plant everything if my grandson let it grow he things that they are weeds so he pulls them out and have to plant it again but wont touch my rose bush lol
My pots of petunias are still blooming on my porch!! And it's cold in Nebraska!! I love seeing the blossoms in the winter!!❤

Yes! I love zinnias too and how easily they reseed!
