As a teenager working in the Canadian Rockies, I once had to tow a car away after a mountain goat fell off the mountain and landed on its roof totally destroying it! Apparently, they sometimes misjudge their step. Btw, the passengers, although injured, survived. Sadly the goat died on impact. And, as mentioned, the car was a write-off. But, get this, the insurance company told the owners they weren't covered because getting hit by a falling object was considered an act of god!
Act of Goat, more like. That's nuts that insurance wouldn't cover that. Guess we might need "FALLING GOATS" signs even more than "FALLING ROCKS". Poor thing that misjudged its step. The cute hyper mountain goat baby here also has a slip at 2:31 and a landing fail at 4:04.
@@Wealth28 yeah, but these are the 'real' kids. Animals we may be, but other animals always 'home school' their offspring and they only join kinder groups when they are confident enough to choose to do so on their own and are free to immediately return to mom if something appears to be too much to handle.
1:37 - So apparently _mountain_ goats _can_ spronk. 😊 BTW, it's always tripped me out how crazy mountain goats can get with their parkour. This video's info tidbit of their hooves being like hard rubber explains so much.
Boy, the lil goats know the drill now. Am I the only one hearing the mountain goats talking in Arnold's voice saying, Look at da little girlie goats. They are so puny.
I do not know if the animals actually understand. But I sure enjoy the heck outta it.. makes me want to take my old butt down to the zoo and see 'em my self.. But I do not think I could walk that much any more.. it has been about 15 years since I was last at the oregon zoo.. But I have been there many time and it is always worth the trip.. even when I lived in eugene.. now I am just across the river..
It would've been super cool to have the adults taken inside for a bit and let the kids all play together. The nerubians probably would've loved those cliff to bounce on
Be nice if you could continue this encounter, this time with a wire fence where they can sniff and touch. Open field would be nice if all went well with the fence.. There seemed to be a connection there.
They should have allowed the baby mountain goats to be in the same space as the domesticated goats. They'd likely have all had a good time. PS Of course, mountain goats aren't actually goats, or even particularly related, but they have similar appearance and behavior patterns, and would likely enjoy the same sort of play.
Too who, the severely gimped genome of the "tiny" goats or the baby mountain goats which are suited to a wild environment? Who cares if we lose the tiny goats, stop the clickbait titles.
How are they important? The only importance I see them having is to their caretakers. Not even a wild animal, seems like a waste of tax dollars. There is a reason horses, dogs, house cats and goats are not in zoos. The zoos for domesticated animals already exist and they are called petting zoos.
3:35 what's with the tiny animal on the ground? at first I thought it was a rodent but now I'm wondering if it is a wood carving (it doesn't move), perhaps a zoo easter egg? anyone know?
I would have liked to see them put the two leashed goats in separately with the two young white ones. I don't think there would have been a problem. Hopefully next time they will !
They look like they are saying, can you do this? And the other one is saying, yeah, I can do that, but can you do this?!! So cute!!
Yes its like they are talking.
BUT CAN YOU DO THISS!? ONLY 399
Looks at video title
Brain: you can study later you need to know what their reaction is
Me: yeah you know what I do good idea
Clicks
Paige Animations same. My interaction with the internet makes me feel like Peter griffin

Sounds like they had liability insurance only - a higher tier of insurance such as comprehensive protection would cover acts of god - goats and all.
Damn....
So if a bird poops on me it’s considered an act of god?
Farmers insurance knows a thing or two because they've seen a thing or two. Wonder if they've seen this.
They should have put the adults away and let them be in the same space as the “kids”
And create stress to the moms. No thanks you just introduce them slowly to all of them
That little white one probably would've headbutted the shit out of the other goats anyways
That’s a very stupid idea. Imagine being a five year old and being separated from your mom and seeing total strangers.
sounds like when you go to school

I love goats. Also: mountain goats are cheaters in real life. They basically say "screw you" to gravity.
And the admins can't ban them
I wish these videos were a biiiiit longer. Maybe not every single video, but once in awhile I could do with a longer goat special! Yeah, I'm greedy.
OldeOne deESuhrim Totally concur
Thirded.
Look for the feature-length Hollywood spectacular to come! B^D
"From executive producer Ellen DeGeneres... comes the baby goat experience of a lifetime..."
I normally don’t like zoos but this one you can actually tell they love their animals
What breed of dog is this?
mountain dogs
Rock and grass puppers
The ones that taste yummy on the table
Ummer Farooq nah that a bullpit or shepherd German

I love how the mountain kids bounce around like other goat kids . I never knew their coats shed like that . Great video
2:11 Careful, Sonia might fly away with those ears!

I want to watch that baby mountain goat romp around more!!SOOOOO CUTE!!!!
goats are legit the most precious animals ever they're so innocent and full of curiosity and excitement is just so adorable ❤️
I love goats! We had them when I was a kid (no pun intended) 🐐
When you're walking the goats they look like some kind of goofy dog. But cute as heck. Love the floppy ears. ❤😍
I'm loving this series! And I'm sure the goats are too! I hope one day I can visit the zoo...greetings from Edmonton, Alberta!
Ahhhhhhh 😙♥♥♥♥I love that Sonia and Ruth were running , that's super great 😙😙😙♥♥♥♥🌹🌹♥♥
One downvote came from the goats from seattle zoo theyre a little bit jealous lol.
Man those mountain goats in the winter are the very definition of floof! Also wow goats do really love climbing.
*CUTENESS OVERLOAD*
3:58 you can hear a goat yelling in the background lmao
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I ❤ little goats. Nothing cuter☺❤👍 Thanks for sharing them.
Hardly worthy of a recommendation, guys at TH-cam should know my standard of cuteness is far beyond this
Love your videos of Ruth and Sonia- always puts a huge smile on my face💕❤️ Thank you:)
Its really amazing that there are so many types of goats all around the world. Goat kids are so cute. Aw Ruth wants to climb up high too!
I love goats! They're so much fun and have great personalities. Thank You for the video.

Tricked me into learning about goats
I'm jealous of goat's joints/knees. i would love to jump from high places and not cry in pain. 😂
I would love to visit the Oregon Zoo, because it looks so sweet. ❤❤
My kids are good climbers as well!they climb on the couches, counter tops, fridge, gates, fences, trees, you name it 😤😂

Being able to sniff and touch is not a good idea. It can easily cause a disease outbreak.
You'd never put theses 2 goats together. The mountain goats would bash the hell out of them
Great video...thank you...i love animals...Gods creatures! ❤💚💜💙💛
Goat: Who are you?
Mountain Goat: I'm you but springier.
Those mountain goats are like ninjas they always be jumping never walking normal
I honestly though it was gonna be the band The Mountain Goats meeting goats
Ruth was inspired to climb! clever girl
V.nice Mam, i like Your Video,
Allah Bless You,
Thankfully, Love from India.
Omg those mountain goats are so cute, you can tell by how they walk that they are built for navigating rough steep terrain. Just precious.
Your tiny goats are so lucky. (And so are all your other very well-cared for animals!)
Omg I have a Nigerian dwarf goat! His name's Kenny lmao💀

The Real Hawkeye II It would be too risky
Too who, the severely gimped genome of the "tiny" goats or the baby mountain goats which are suited to a wild environment?
Who cares if we lose the tiny goats, stop the clickbait titles.
Sugefut Sugefut It's not click bait it says visited not anything else. The baby goats are important
How are they important?
The only importance I see them having is to their caretakers.

Sugefut Sugefut Sometimes there are petting zoos in zoos plus they are innocent babies. You obviously hate animals to want two little kids to die.
The baby mountain goat sooo cute!
It also kind of looks like a lamb.
Omg I love goats! They’re so cute ^_^
Kids are kids!
3:01 Hey mom, can I play with them?
Our baby Luna looks like your baby Ruth!! Lol. So curious and energetic!
What do you do with the wool they shed?
Can the shedding mountain goats be brushed to expedite the process of the shedding?
They're wonderful. So adorable.
But please change her name.
Those little mountain goats are so cute, have to get up there.
🎉🎉can u bread both together?
Like in a big loaf?
Just love these films and keep them coming.
3:35 what's with the tiny animal on the ground? at first I thought it was a rodent but now I'm wondering if it is a wood carving (it doesn't move), perhaps a zoo easter egg? anyone know?
I’ll be showing this to my students, this was amazing.
Why are they so cute!
My French Bulldogs are named Finn & Piper!
Awww those kids are so adorable.
3:52 Mountain goat baby : mom, why are those goats with humans and not caged like us?
These videos always make me smile! They are so cute!! Hello from Scotland! :D
It's fun to watch the young mt goats careening around on the rocks.
Veery. Good. Work. Baby. Keep it up
I love that scene in Jurassic Park where they take the cute goat to visit the T. Rex...
Great footage lol. Thanks for sharing!
Great PUN! :D
I can't look at a mountain goat without thinking of Asriel from a game that kids used to be obsessed with, called Undertale
So do goats ever fall and hurt themselves?
They r actually happy 😍 so beautiful
the little one is like "open the gate i want to play with the other goats"
Love love love the little goats. To bad they dident get to play togather
These goats are getting some V.I.G. treatment! They're very important goats!

The world is full of beautiful creatures accept humans
2:27 Someone get that goat a skateboard!
*i am the tiny goat, and the rest of the cool kids are the mountain goats*
By grace alone I'll get to heaven, there's sure to be animal baby goats there.
In my head I thought it was goats visiting the band "The Mountain Goats"
Totally awesome!!!
Yes ,all goats don’t afraid of humans coming closed, they are not like sheep.
I would have liked to see them put the two leashed goats in separately with the two young white ones. I don't think there would have been a problem. Hopefully next time they will !
Mountain goat kids play is awesome
Can those types cross breed?
No.
Goats are too cute
Go to this zoo all the time! I live in Oregon as well :)
I think that big white billie goat was confused as to why those 2 goats on the lead ropes were the wrong color! He sure was looking at them all right.
Damn goats in Oregon have it nicer than me in Kentucky
It's like us watching the monkey exhibit.
Let's put Oil Tycoons and leaders of manufacturing in zoo cages and let the wildlife return to the wild.
The true masters of parkour.
That was great! They should visit each other more often. They all seemed to really enjoy seeing each other. I love that you all do this.💖🤙
These mountain goats are very good at parkour
How come only the one goat has a face harness ?
I wanna see how they play together.... put them in the same cage
I didn't realize that they were antelope relatives, but now it's easy to see that resemblance.
