SheIsntReal 0_0 They do. They have what are called mixed species habitats. The different animals share the enclosure because they would likely see each other in the wild.
yeah it is cute indeed x) I'm sure it's also mentally healthy for them to see creatures of other species. spice things up make life interesting for them :)
I can't believe this is a regular series but now I am going to watch every single episode in this series. Side note, you mention that Ruth is named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg but no explanation for Sonia... I assume named for Sonia Sotomayor?
Good that they didn't let them too close. The kick of a Giraffe is so powerful that it can kill even a lion in seconds. Goats would have been mushed if Giraffes felt even a little threatened!
I love the Ruth and Sonia Shows! They are adorable to begin with..and throw in visits to other animals and everyones reactions....priceless! Thank you for all these vids. More to come I hope.
Just love these videos, and watching the interactions! I would love to see them shared on a children's show of some kind. Keep up the good work Ruth & Sonia, you are by far the sweetest little goodwill ambassadors!
A Giraffe could kill smaller animals and humans very easily merely by stepping, jumping and kicking them if they wanted to. But thank God they're friendly.
There's a story I love about the first giraffe in the Paris (France) Zoo. A man comes and stares at the giraffe for a long, long time. Finally turns around and says "I still don't believe it."
SlitheryPoppy4 They are “reviewing” inter-species visiting policies. Like showing a shiny tricycle to a 3 y/o and then taking it away? Lion thought it was her special b’day dinner.
I kind of always get disappointed though because all they ever do is look at each other no matter what animal it is. 😕So it doesn’t seem like they get to REALY meet, they just get to look at each other. But I guess some things take time. And I realize that there’s no way they can do anything but view the lions etc 😉👍
There was a preview of the little goats going to see the lions. Was that a complete debacle or is it going to be uploaded? (Went in search of... But, was unable to find it on your playlist.)
Giraffes: "Those are weird looking gazelles."
Goats:" Those are BIG goats!"
Plot twist: griaffes are humungous deer.
The keepers being so joyful really made this clip
It's really cool letting different species see each other! I've always wondered if any zoos do this. So cute to see them check each other out!

In my experience giraffes are the most curios species in the world! Their problem is they are fearful too 😁
The giraffes be like "Uh, why are those other giraffes so tiny?"
Brandon Espinoza > haha truth!! 😂
"And what's with their necks?"
2:48 the face of 'oh helll nah, thats a little mini hyena'
I think the humans enjoy these outings at least as much as the other participants. Thanks for the smiles. 🐐 😊🐐
The obvious curiosity in the giraffes was delightful, and caused a feeling of deep connection in me. Wonderful.!
I can't believe this is a regular series but now I am going to watch every single episode in this series. Side note, you mention that Ruth is named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg but no explanation for Sonia... I assume named for Sonia Sotomayor?
I've been wondering the same thing. It's a shame your question was never answered.
I have also been watching these videos and wondering about that.
You shouldn't tease the lion like that, lol
'You're staff, come one back!' IM DYING :D
Goats are the most inquisitive creatures in the animal kingdom,
That was great! Thank you for the post!
I absolutely fell in love with y’all! Thank you! We are all just funny lookin giraffes to them...
Ruth has been practicing spronking since her visit to Chupacabra
Sweet. Odd, but sweet. Never thought about life enrichment for goats before. Or giraffes! Tks.
This was Cute, interesting. To see this type of interaction with one of my favorite animals-Giraffes. Sweet!
What a great encounter! Brianne has the perfect heart for this job..raise her!
Very very cute! I wish I could hug them 🐐🐐❤
That was awesome!!!So cute and funny! The little goats are so cute and the giraffes are incredible. 🥰🥰🥰
How adorable. The giraffes could have been spooked by the leashes (snakes.) Wish the little goats could have run and played in the enclosure. 💛💛💛
Giraffes: Little demons! RUN!
Thank you Oregon Zoo! 💕🐾💕🐾💕
Good that they didn't let them too close. The kick of a Giraffe is so powerful that it can kill even a lion in seconds. Goats would have been mushed if Giraffes felt even a little threatened!
This is adorable!
What goats are thinking looking at the tall Giraffes: "How do I climb up onto that..."
Giraffes: Alright those things are just freaky let's get out of here
3:45 the giraffe head!! 😂😂
Best series on the Internet! Can’t stop watching!
Started with one, up to 7 Ruth & Sonia videos, can't stop watching ♥️😁 makes me wish I'd gone into zoolgy instead of chemistry!!! Great zoo♥️
They took the goats to meet the lions, they are now reviewing animal interaction policies

The giraffes were cautions to not to accidentally step on theirs tiny relatives. "O my gosh I almost step over my cousins.
That Giraffe is such a Melman.
Those are gonna be some wise goats when they get older
Looks like Ruth too..Same horns
I wish my cat walked that well on a harness and leash! 😸
Yes, goats can become extremely docile,
Giraffes have the exact same heads as camels. Did anyone else ever notice that?
Ruth better be “simply the best!”
She has HUGE shoes to fill.....that tiny judge has size 12 feet!
@whitelifesmatter savetheboer You are one sick puppy. And a hater. I checked your profile. Sad.
She's looking at the ossicles thinking 'that's a big goat'!
The giraffes are like “Jesus Christ, is that a f*****g gremlin?!”
I dont like Zoos on principle...but this one looks less like cages and more like a fun place for the animals. You are doing a good job.
The giraffes probably thought the goats were weird-looking gazelles.
Almost a whole zoo: giraffes, goats, a gazelle and cows.
Goat Life!
A Giraffe could kill smaller animals and humans very easily merely by stepping, jumping and kicking them if they wanted to. But thank God they're friendly.
Next episode: Tiny lunch + glass shards! 🐾
How did I not know this was a miniseries?!
So the big animals are scared of the small animals? Who would’ve thought?
So cool😊
The giraffes has seen goats
Giraffes are cute

SlitheryPoppy4 Lions scared the goats got too much hate so they removed it idk

Sonia: Relax Ruth, they’re just horses with really long legs and necks.
Ruth: OK, cool. What’s a horses?
Brianne: “sigh”...
4:32 to be continued

💕💕💕🐐🐐🐐
So sweet and, funny
KAWAII
I like how animal lovers always use colorful language like 'oh they are exicted about it'... lion sees potential dinner... so yea it's excited.
I don't see any visible reaction to goats meeting any animals in these videos.
Do you folks ever worry about bio security and animals bringing microbes that don’t bother them into habitats where they might cause harm?
The present day video of Godzilla meets Bambi.......
might skip big cats and crodiles
