I remember in '92 they did a test ride on a CBR900RR in Mugello I think, for 24 hours non-stop. That is pushing the bike towards its limits! Not just a ride around the track. After the test, the motorcycle was still running as if it just came out of the factory!!!!!
had one from about 23 years ago ,93 model in white and purple ,spent more time looking at it than riding it ,until my next door neighbour accidently knocked it over ,good times .....

They were so revolutionary for their time. Still a blast to ride today. They turn in so fast with that 16 inch front wheel

I am a Yamaha man but this bike re writ the rule book and I love it.
They are awesome bikes. I sold mine few months back and since your a Yamaha guy you’ll love what I’m replacing it with 96 yzf750sp.
