I’m much better at making the dents!
Definitely easier
Be fun to try that on teeth
lol. My luck, it would be punching not pulling.
No mud
That’s an aluminum tank so no mud.
That's amazing.
Thank you Eric. I always appreciate the comments I know you have a lot of people your following so I really do appreciate it.
91-92,,,Sold'em when they were everywhere, ICONIC motorbike will have his private ZX7R up for auction next week should be interesting
I sent him a lower bracket for it. He has had it apart so long it got lost.
@@mmotorcycles9497 Ha ya I could imagine losing parts is a common thing in that biz. Ya he menttioned starting that project years ago slowly, brand new tank as well should be interesting sale
@paulhewson4600 I’m guess 19600.00 on the sale. Very curious to see how it does.
I don’t think I’ve seen a silver one yet was surprised on that one
Trying to give you some motivation. Lol
@@mmotorcycles9497 I did just bring all my original plastics to the house and put them in the loft I’m getting their Motoamerica hits here next week so I’m going to be out their with the bus setting up the tv stuff for them but I’m def wiggling my way to that project
Man, I would really love an early 90s one 😭😭
Next build maybe?
Awesome…. 91 baby
Can’t go wrong with that. I love mine
I fell in ❤ in 1990!
Good time to start right at the beginning of there run
I wonder if there is some King out there with every one of those in his collection.
101 garage is trying I think
I love them all.. but my heart is forever 1990, ZXR750 H2 💚👌🏼
Someday you might just get that 90 zxr750. lol. You have a beautiful one
@mmotorcycles9497 Lol thank you sir, it's my favourite bike in my small collection 😁👍
I'm still firmly in the '91/'92 camp. Chunky and low but also spare and clean styling. That little fairing transition detail where it sweeps back horizontally under the headlights and then comes cutting forward vertically again just kills me. Also it was when Kawasaki said screw it all and made a crazy homologation special that was (somewhat) attainable in contrast to the other manufacturers whose were either unobtainium or much more pricy.
Agree 100 percent. I find it’s just easier to own different years then there’s no choice to be made. I know you got a nice 91/92
If you like 91s or 92s (or like me with the 93). A lot of it has to do with what imprinted on you. I think my definition of imprinting in this sense would be what sort of...gave you your sense of styling. If people from the 40's were to see 80's or 90's bikes, they would think that they are very weird looking. When we look back at 30's bikes, we see them very differently than what the people of those days saw. I may think that a 288 GTO Ferrari is the most beautiful car ever, but I don't know if younger people would see it that way.
@@mmotorcycles9497 I would also like a later gen model with the cat eye headlights and the twin ram air inlets. They are quite handsome and serious looking.
@WhistlesToAnimals so true. I got my first new 600 back in 93 it was a fzr600. I loved the bike but loved the bigger bikes 750’s really. They were out of my price till 97 when I got a Ducati 748. Now I want all the bikes I couldn’t get back then
@@mmotorcycles9497 Well, I don't want any more bikes. I've had mine for 29.5 years. I mostly keep it because I painted it. I'll show you a pic of it soon via email.
1993 was the best. Before that, they had the tubes going into the gas tank (not a fan of that on this bike). In 1996, Suzuki was extremely successful with their SRAD GSXR 750 and outgunned the ZX7, so in later years, the ZX7 wasn't in the lead anymore. The SRAD was even better than the bigger cc bikes, even the legendary first generation CBR-Nine.
Yeah in 96 srad changed the game. Hopefully I’ll have one at some point.
So which one do you like best. I own a couple so this is hard but probably the first one after 1996 the Zx7rr green and purple
I think I like the all blue one 91 or 92 I think it was and I don't even like blue lol
That was Canada we didn’t get that one down here. And yeah I always liked that one
Whatever pays the bills... But an HD. LOL.
I don’t do to many Harley’s anymore just for people I know. This one’s a full custom frame , motor and everything else.
Perfectanumdo!
I made it for my buddies over at Iconicmotorbikes. It’s for selling 50 RC 30s.
Like glass
As always thank you.
Nice work!
You’re not joking are ya. Lol
@@mmotorcycles9497 if your not rolling your eyes, I’m probably not joking 😂
Classic HRC colours.. would love an RC30
It’s in my list but the prices are crazy
Reminds me of that very cool RC30 tool cabinet you refinished some time ago. So very COOL!
Yep. They ended up with that one too
Honda for life
I’m a huge fan but I have all the major brands of bikes
@@mmotorcycles9497 hopefully Yamaha isn't one of them that's the only brand I really dislike
@CCAutoWorks lol. I have a couple
@@mmotorcycles9497 SMH 💩
Who would to see F-350 in bigger power wheel aized for adults can have fun aswell like most kiddies need parents joining them in joy rides in future and was goping to be into fully metal chassis, diff, suspension kit be awesome with 60v 3600w into 75km/m with e scooter lcd display, with atv eletric wheels is full steel non plastics rims
Sign me up
Nice haul. But they need work. Looks like tape works and you have a deal to make!
lol. Lots of work for sure.
I thought of Prince’s bike in purple rain!
lol. Not quite.
@@mmotorcycles9497 I’m considering a couple gold accent pieces for my ninja, and was worried about being too flashy. I wish I had the confidence of purple paint person 😂
Not only want to be heard but want to be seen too
It will definitely be loud
Nice !!
Going to be a little off the norm
That is some serious purple flake. 😁
Little too big for my liking. I like it to look more like glitter
Very cool!
Thank you. Hard to get parts
Nice score man!
Got to make them look nice again.
@@mmotorcycles9497 I’d like an opinion. I was already under the assumption that a long end can was best for a liter bike. While looking for one that wasn’t ear shattering loud and titanium, I found one I’m attracted to. It’s a shorty, but isn’t unbearable loud. What do you think about me buying an Arrow pro race for my zx10r? Im not gonna lie. When I saw the work you do. I thought maybe someday I could maybe buy a bike from mmotorcycles, maybe mmotorcycles would work on one of my bikes, maybe I could get advice from mmotorcycles. One reason I asked if you ever want to go for a ride. Take it as a compliment, you do nice work!
I want to paint a dune racer with white and black cow print... Any tips
Scrub the plastic good and use a plastic adhesion promoter
@@mmotorcycles9497 thanks!
lol I wish I had parts like that on stand by I could start trying some full sends and cover up my after math
You mess with the zx7 or is it in stand by? I really like the buell
@@mmotorcycles9497 it’s got a tick I need to figure out don’t want to do more damage possibly just haven’t had the time yet just got a little mini garage put together to dig in to it but want to finish fresh if up the pit bike first knock out the smaller projects first not sure how deep I got to dig in to the zx7 the Buell is cool tho and it dose slow me down quite a bit on the straight lines it’s doesn’t do Mach 3 but it’s still fast enough it shines on the back road for sure
Niice….lotta work, but nice. Love that paint scheme, which we never had in the UK
We were lucky to get that paint scheme I think it’s the best. But you guys did get the bike a year earlier.
Wow! You have your work cut out for you.
Labor of love I guess.
The first gen's are so nicely proportioned. Not a mean looking bike but serious and purposeful and inviting. Just gotta remember to upsize the 16" front wheel to a 17...
The wheels and if they had upside down forks would have made them perfect
Awesome
Lots of work
What a find, how many complete bikes or just some randoms? This will give you plenty to do and they'll look brand new when you're done!!
It’s two complete bikes with some extras
That'll buff right out...
lol. I’m hoping
That’s honestly kinda satisfying to watch
And I got paid for doing it
@@mmotorcycles9497 hopefully good moneys too I’d end up gouging that metal
Stresses me out for some reason 😂
I could see that
Love it when paint peels off like that
Makes life easier.
@@mmotorcycles9497 it does tell u get paint that won't come off for anything
That's supposed to happen...right?😂
lol. Hopefully not to me.
You almost at that 1000 subs
Getting close but man it’s slow going.
@@mmotorcycles9497 honestly I think it’s a random lottery of the matrix these days
Can you do the same for my 91? I need to start restoring it and it need a paint job.
Definitely can be. I’m backed up right now with other bikes but hit me up later to see where I’m at.
Just bought some decals for my bike, no instructions, im guessing its just as easy to mess them up as it us to apply them properly. How does the water & soap help ?
Let’s you move them around a little and you can pull them off if not going on right and put back down. Doing it dry you get one shot at it.
aah, make sense. Thank you 👍
I know that underseat exhausts are hot and against mass-centralization but they look so damn cool.
Totally agree the worst part of it is the lower part coming out of the motor roast your lower leg. I’ve had burns before but worth it
She looks purty!
Very nice. Hey you should have tried to buy that kids shirt.
@@mmotorcycles9497 I was in awe. I was talking to him, thinking what is that. Butterfly, cobra, cactus. Hahaha
1day
So expensive
Very cool motorcycles indeed. 😎👍
I’m such an analog guy the new ones look really cool but I’ll take the old ones part of it might be the 50k price tag
@@mmotorcycles9497🤣🤣🤣 I'll agree. The 50k price tag and insurance would be sky high. I love motorcycles but that's a lot of lettuce.
Yessir
They have changed so much
One of the most iconic Ducs ever.
New one looks cool but not really my style I like the old one better.
