Regarding Pakistani narrative being successful in Balakote, the proof of success was that Pakistan did not allow any journalist or foreign media to that building for considerable number of months and it was allowed only after repairing everything. I feel very sad that our media never emphasized in this to prove success of Indian action.

China only respects power, and had to be countered with resolute military action on the ground, as he explained, while Pakistan needed to be shown that India will not always be restrained, and can deliver a greater than proportionate response when provoked.

As an Indian who is living abroad for more than three decades it is heartening to know that the security of our country is in good hands and our security forces have the commitment, ability and resolve to deal with the menace on the North and West. My prayer is that these brave sons and daughters defending our borders will have divine protection.

Blown away by the manner in which the former army chief spoke. Perfectly calibrated responses, not a word out of place. Even the tricky questions were answered to the point with calm composure and grace.
Excellent podcast. The calm confidence, knowledge and balanced approach of the General reflects in his words. Kudos to Smitaji and Ajitji for asking sensible questions and allowing ample time to the guest to respond.
Rising from Second lieutenant to the rank of Chief isn't a small thing. General Sir might have gone through end no of difficulties during his service tenure, however he avoided boosting about his achievements even when he could, during the course of conversation. Could not understand how a person of his position and ultimate power, can be so cool and down to earth.
I can't thank you enough for coming up with this series of podcasts with distinguished personalities especially the ones from our forces. I learned a lot from these conversations. Please bring more of them. 🇮🇳
I don't know our Indian Army in and out but without any doubt i am proud of our Indian Army. All citizens of this country maybe not lucky to serve country on borders but we can fight China in Indian markets and by that i mean not buying Chinese products as much as possible. I know it cannot be done overnight but we can atleast start from somewhere.
With these kind of men at the borders and at the strategic level, forget about a 2 front war, even if 10 fronts are open, we would bash everybody. Epitome of sincerity, dedication and capability 🙏🏻

I don't have family members in the army, though a lot have tried, I can just get goosebumps after listening to such experiences. Looking forward to serving them from outside through technology. They are there for us, lets be there for them. I hope podcasts with more army men is definitely going to be a fantastic approach to give insights to younger generation in India.

Thank you to the ANI team. Great interview with Gen. Naravane! His mild manner seems like a perfect camouflage for his strong, decisive leadership of the army, before he retired. China only respects power, and had to be countered with resolute military action on the ground, as he explained, while Pakistan needed to be shown that India will not always be restrained, and can deliver a greater than proportionate response when provoked.
India is in safe hands when people like him are serving in the army . 🙏

Excellent podcast. The calm confidence, knowledge and balanced approach of the General reflects in his words. Kudos to Smitaji and Ajitji for asking sensible questions and allowing ample time to the guest to respond.
Rising from Second lieutenant to the rank of Chief isn't a small thing. General Sir might have gone through end no of difficulties during his service tenure, however he avoided boosting about his achievements even when he could, during the course of conversation. Could not understand how a person of his position and ultimate power, can be so cool and down to earth.
I can't thank you enough for coming up with this series of podcasts with distinguished personalities especially the ones from our forces. I learned a lot from these conversations. Please bring more of them. 🇮🇳

I don't know our Indian Army in and out but without any doubt i am proud of our Indian Army.
All citizens of this country maybe not lucky to serve country on borders but we can fight China in Indian markets and by that i mean not buying Chinese products as much as possible.
I know it cannot be done overnight but we can atleast start from somewhere.
