Just ordered one of these tablets yesterday and it should be here today! I have a ram mount but I don’t think the one I have will be big enough to hold this tablet. I used to use an old iPad mini in it
It looks like they locked the cradle with a key but did nothing to secure the base clamp? It's anchored by a single common screw. Security flaws aside; if that thing holds the weight of the screen over off-road bumps and vibration it's still a decent working arm for viewing.
I have a 8" light bar as a reverse light . It is activated by a limit switch I installed under the plastic shifter cover. I can see great, but this camera has no Infrared lights.
a little bit more than when it was open. I have 2 layers of sound-deadening material, similar to dynomat, completely covering the back wall. it helped a ton.
I can tell you what milspec does mean. It means I leave it permanently installed and never take it out. It has been through the dirtiest, most dusty, and muddy trail systems in Eastern Kentucky . It has been pressure washed, sun-baked, rained on, snowed on, and frozen in a quarter inch of ice. It operates as quickly as any samsung or apple tablet I have ever owned. I don't know what you consider "quality," but it does meet my standards for being high quality.
Could you do a video demonstration on how you connect your Wi-Fi back up camera to the tablet? & still be able to use the tablet at the same time?

FYI the Polaris app also does tracking and has property lines and it’s free
Nice video, I’m curious, how/where is it mounted?
It is mounted on my lower crossbar on a TQR cage. It could be mounted on any bar in front of the cab .
How is the lag with the Wifi camera? Thanks for the video! This is just like what I'm thinking about doing.
It is milliseconds. Not much lad at all
How do you do the wifi
Nice tablet Do you need wifi or internet for the gps maps To load up ?
Most trail/off-road apps will allow you to pre-download maps for the area you are going. No connection is required for the gps to work.
Now I got watch all your videos 😂😂. Want to see the enclosure on the back. And holster mount
Can you post the links for the camera and the tablet. TIA
They are in the description. Click "see more" to see the whole description
Thanks
I have been looking into a backup camera and was wondering how this one does a night?

How is the engine noise with the rear closed in?
a little bit more than when it was open. I have 2 layers of sound-deadening material, similar to dynomat, completely covering the back wall. it helped a ton.
Mil-spec doesn't mean quality
