My Dad introduced me to Dave Loggins's music in his album collection when I was a kid and I also grew up listening to and enjoying many of the songs that he had written for other artists that became major hits for them. Dave is a legend and one of the greatest musicians and songwriters that there ever has been and ever will be, period. RIP Dave Loggins.

I'm so glad to have come across this interview with Dave Loggins. I had just come home from our monthly gathering of singer/songwriters performing our latest songs, a think we call Troubadour Thursday (first Thursday of every month) where I had been talking about Loggins and his music as an inspiration. I'm sad to see that he passed recently, but so glad that I've known his music for so many years. Thanks for putting this out.

"Please Come to Boston" was my favorite song the instant I first heard it. It does have something extra; I felt it right away.

Found Dave in '75 at 20 yrs old. I wore out my LP, and when I learned guitar I covered every song from that album . The girl from Knoxville was so tender my heart would swell. The number one fan of the man from Tennessee. Thanks for the interview.

Thank you for posting this interview. I am so saddened by Dave's death. His music does transport me to other times, other places. I have never gotten tired of hearing "Please Come to Boston". Not in the early '70's when it was released & not now. Another of my favorites is "A Touch of Pennsylvania ", which I 1st heard in the '80's on a Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver album. When I found out DL had written it & heard his stirring version of it, well, there was no going back. R.I.P. Dave Loggins & thanks for being part of the tapestry of our lives!💙
