Yes sir correct. Our daughter was born in the United States, and is therefore a U.S. citizen by birth. All that we needed to do was to register her birth in Philippines. She now has a Birth Certificate from USA and Philippines, and a Passport from USA and Philippines. My wife simply availed herself of the law, and renewed her Philippines citizenship, and holds citizenship in both countries. Very beneficial for our family.
I lost my Filipino citizenship and gained NZ, Australian and US citizenship, I’m planning to re-aquire my Filipino citizenship. I don’t think it matters to those countries that recognize dual citizenship, you can hold as much citizenship you can handle 😅
I want to apply for dual citizenship but my birthname and naturalized name are different and I didn't receive my proof of name change during the ceremony. I had my naturalization ceremony on 2021 and had a name change along with it. However, I didn’t receive the name change certificate on that day but my certificate of naturalization is showing my new name. I didn't know that it should be attached on my certificate until recently because I was able to update my information with little to no problems. I was able to update my social security card, state ID and get a US passport by showing my certificate of naturalization with my new name and my old state ID with my old name. However, I am planning to get my dual citizenship and I heard stories they are asking the name change certificate which I don't have. I am planning to make an affidavit of one and same identity ( I will have it notarized and apostilled ) as a solution. Is it a good idea? If not, what should I do?
Is it true that we’re only allowed to reacquire (RA 9225) Filipino citizenship twice? Considering that the countries you have been naturalized does not require you to renounce your birth citizenship? Like New Zealand or US for example. In my case, I am a naturalized NZ citizen and have reacquired my Filipino citizenship by pledge of allegiance, now I am planning to move to the US and have resident visa (greencard EB3) on arrival, and if I liked it there, would consider staying until I’m able to acquire US citizenship- in saying all that, I prefer to be a Filipino citizen forever thus I will, again, apply for reacquisition of my Filipino citizenship. Since I have already done it once, am I still able to do it again, is there a cap in reacquiring Filipino citizenship? I thought I’ve read somewhere that we’re allowed twice. Is this true?
Hello po attorney. Thank you for the detailed info regarding multiple citizenships 😊 Curious po ako if nakapag oath of allegiance na po ang isang pinoy in order to remain / reaquire filipino citizenship and they gain another citizenship ma nu-nullified po ba ang oath of allegiance? Also, how about po yung passport na nakuha after na regain yung Filipino citizenship, ma-wawalan po ba yun ng effect? Thank you po.

Hello Atty.! My mother was born in the Philippines to a US citizen father and a Filipina mother, she has been staying in the Philippines all her life since she was born 50+ years ago. Then last year lang po namin nalaman that my mother is a US citizen, meron siyang consular birth certificate and a US passport. Along with that we just found out that she's been staying in the Philippines illegally kasi wala siyang valid PH visa to stay in the Philippines, yung overstay niya po ay lagpas 100k PHP na. Question po, paano kaya mare-resolve ang case niya? Pwede ba itong ma-resolve kung i-claim niya ang dual citizenship niya by operation of law? Eligible po ba siya for that? Sana po mapansin niyo ang comment ko. Thanks!

You can acquire a 13 Visa for your husband.
Just check all of the necessary required documents.
It is very inexpensive, much less than the SRRV.
