This was literally EVERYTHING I needed! My only question is when you added your music, is this the same way to add your own audio/ sound as well? I'd like to use this to make short films, so I would have my sound saved separately.
This was AMAZING! The copy/paste for attributes on the color grading is awesome! I’m new to Lumafusion. I had a questions regarding the frame rate in order to get the slo-mo, are filming in 24fps and slowing down to 60? Or filming in 60fps and slowing down to 24? Sorry again I’m new to editing and want to try and get my video to look a little better.
Sure. Great question. First, it depends on your regular frame rate. You may be filming in 24fps or 30fps. 24 is more cinematic, and 30 is more 'realistic' to put it simply. If you want to make something slow motion, you can film in 60, 120, or even 240. You then take a clip you have filmed in a larger frame rate then slow it down to match your regular 24 or 30 frame rate on your timeline. If matched, the slow motion will look smooth. Try it out and let me know how it goes.
@@MobileCinematics Nice! Thank you. I’ll try that. So when I set up my project in Lumafusion, I just set it up using 24fps that way it can stay that way correct? Then when I add in the 60 or high fps clips I can slow them down to 24. Just want to make sure we’re on the same page lol
@@coach_yo Exactly. Give it a quick test and see how it works for you. Maybe quickly record some running water from the sink in 60fps and slow that footage down on a 24fps sequence. Have fun!
Hi , I want to shot a 4K video with my iPhone 12 Pro using Filmic pro app, and would like to edit the video on my iPad Pro 12.9. with Lumafusion app Is there a way to transfer the files from iPhone to iPad without losing quality?
Hi Jerry. In my experience there isn't a noticeable difference unless your a pro in the industry. AIFF will take up more space. PCM is just fine. But, if I were to answer, my choice would be AAC because of greater efficiency and storage. Hope that helps!
Thank You for your awesome tutorial!! I shoot in manual with my equipment 90% of the time. I have a question if I may; In Filmic Pro, once you lock your shutter speed and dial down the ISO as low as it will go, what's the best way to confirm proper exposure when using a VND? I really don't like just eying the screen and hoping I have it? With my DJI Mavic Air I simply watch my EV meter and get it as close to 0.0 to -0.5 Also, when you locked the WB in orange, did it maintain kelvin throughout the shot or does it still fluctuate like Auto? I just received my iPhone 13 Pro Max and want to use it for some B roll. I never filmed with an iPhone seriously therefore, I would sincerely appreciate your input. Thank you again for this tutorial!! 👍😊
Hi RAPA Ent. Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. To answer your questions, when I'm outside and us my ND filter, once I lock shutter speed and ISO, I prefer using false color. However, a meter with hard numbers would be preferable, but Filmic Pro does not have that feature. Also, you have the options to use zebra stripes or their histogam/RGB histogram (which is rather small) if you prefer. As for WB, there is a red button option that locks before you press record and the orange button which locks the moment you press record (my preference). When locked and filming both Kelvin and Tint are locked and do not fluctuate during filming. I hope you enjoy your new iPhone 13, and let me know if you have alternatives that work better for you regarding Filmic Pro. Take care!
@@MobileCinematics Thank you for all your help! Could you please tell me what false color is? Is that a preset? Thanks again for explaining what else can be used. I sincerely appreciate it. 😊👍
@@rapaent I may be better at explaining it by showing you a past video I made reviewing the Protake app. The concept is the same. Check out this video around 4:32. Filmic Pro offers False Color as well. Link here : th-cam.com/video/JXFwFeKgoa0/w-d-xo.html

Can we use lumafusion on iphone 12 (64 gb)
Is it compatible with iphone (ios 15.1.1) ??????
Yes, you can. Read more about it in the app store. I think their newest version 3.0 is great.
