I only use my small planner for school(homework, test/quizzes, when things are due) and if I remember to actually write it down( lol, that happens often, but it's getting less and less) it is really helpful to just worry about school! but for life things ( church, piano, b-day parties etc.) I have a monthly plain old planner, and I use post it notes and all that jazz on that!

I color coded my classes so blue is college strategies, green is math, and orange is college reading and writing so when I look in my planner is easy to tell what classes I have homework in and then I use purple for events and black for random stuff to remember!
