Yeah here in germany you can't do it either. The small ones are closed since last year march.. Bother me - honestly.

I am so jealous of all the thrift book stores in America and Canada. Here in the Netherlands they don’t really exist and if they do all the books available are either not in English or are in English but not YA😭
Idk where you live but in Utrecht are a lot of thrift stores. They do sell a lot of books and they do have English YA/fantasy books. I found Breaking Dawn from Twilight (hardcover) in a thrify store in Utrecht a week ago for only €1,50. In Woerden is one a thrift store named Noppes and they have a lot of books too, I don't remember them having English books thou.

@@BookishBear I have also bought many second hand books from people on facebook market place for a few euro's. Very recently I bought the first 2 books of twilight for €5,- for both on Marktplaats (I went to collect it, otherwise there would be shipping included. But be careful when you buy things from Marktplaats, there have been alot of scam alerts.
Try the american book center! They have a nice collection of used books.
I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and I haven’t found very many good ones

I was today years old when I learned that there is a Goodwill dedicated to JUST BOOKS. I MUST FIND ONE NOW. That last bookstore you went to looks sssoooooo perfect though!!!! I just went on a thrift bookstore haul last weekend, but now I feel inspired to spend another weekend exploring more thrift bookstores! OH NO I'm sorry your car broke down though! That's never a fun way to end the day hahaha at least it looked like a gorgeous day outside!

Who else HATES the price tag stickers GoodWill uses? Sometimes they are hard to remove and the glue residue stays on the book.
These videos make me so happy! We don't really have these type of stores in Hungary (at least in my area) and no book stores are open rn so this just calms me ❤️

video idea : do the stop challenge thingy so basically you will walk with your eyes closed and your sister will say stop randomly and which ever book you land on you have to buy and read it and you can or can not choose the genre or the author it's basically your preferance as well as the range number of page of the book 🌸

I love the thrift book shopping videos! Just looking at the shelves and hearing the commentary from you guys is so nice. I just finished Silence of the Lambs and I loved it. I think Red Dragon is technically supposed to be first, but I didn't have a problem following the story. Also, I've been hoarding Stephen King books from Thriftbooks thanks to your recommendations. No regrets.

I loved this video a lot. Most of my second hand bookstores aren't that close by so I can't go visit them all the time (which I miss) and I only really got to go bookshopping for a short while a couple weeks ago. So videos like these are just delightful.

Your so lucky i went to a thrift store to only find 86 books and i was lucky my brother found a hard cover of percy Jackson for 1$ what a good deal

.im from Croatia and its not really popular to have these shops so there arent many! But we are currently waiting For i think its called convention in English . When People meet up and sell their stuff outdoors and they are mostly used! I love those especially For books but they Just dont want to make them available.. sad.
