@@adrianas8295 It's Society of St Vincent De Paul in Long Beach. It's one of my favorite thrift stores for used books. Out of the Closet is another great place and it's just 1/2 mile from St Vincent.

I always buy books in charity shops they are alot cheaper and you cn always donate them after you read.

I also thrift for books. Sometimes for myself and sometimes kids books for Angel Tree. The thrift stores near me have had books that look brand new, right out of a regular bookstore. Those are the only ones I would get for Angel Tree. For myself it doesn't matter. Near me they only cost $0.50 to $2 usually. $3 for super new looking high demand books, but that is rare. I usually pay $1.
Yes there is a sequel to firefly lane plus the book has been adapted into a tv series in Netflix I really enjoyed the show
