With the CG described in the manual, the Fury is NOT tail heavy! However, you have to make sure that the CG is correct when balancing, which is sometimes tricky with a low-wing glider. The Fury in the official video has exactly the specified CG and flies very comfortably.
Good save...but if it is tail heavy then definitionally the CG is off. Whether it is the user who improperly balanced it or the designer who put the CG markings in the wrong location. Either way the CG is incorrect.
@@InspGadgt You want to be pedantic... ok then... I never said you said they did. I simply stated that PlanePrint has never marked a CG wrong. Jeez, what the hell is wrong with people these days. You offered 2 explanations and I dispelled one of them. Given that the CG is right and that the elevator trim, after landing, is level with the HS and the pilot put in full down trim then let's guess where the elevator started. Further... that didn't really look like a tail heavy landing. All in all, good save in the air and a good landing. And the landing gear look really solid. Nicely done to the pilot.
good save.

@@rcdavidk I didn't say they did. I'm just saying there is only 2 reasons for the CG to be off. Never said which it was in this case.
