This video was very informative, but I wish that you would have taken the time to zoom in on the Rebel brand jointed crank bait. I would like to see it closer and know exactly what model it is. It was hard to see how big it is. Looked like it was pretty big, but couldn't really tell since you only let us see it for like 5 seconds. I do like your videos, I find them very informative. Thank you for doing all the videos and promoting fishing. I plan on Snook fishing from the beach for the first time in March of 2019. I can hardly wait. I have to wait til then because I live in Illinois.

Great video i learned a lot. Can u describe if your letting the pin fish or other live bait take out line or jyst have the bail engage. Im fishing from the beach and bridges. And im snookless lol love this video
My first choice when fishing with Pinfish is to free line them. I usually keep the bail open with my finger on the line so that when I get a strike I can let them take it for a few seconds. If there's a lot of current a small crimp weight will help to keep the Pinfish near the bottom. I hope this helps, good luck.
Jc what color or brand mono do u recommend for leader. I havent used mono since the old days of ande. I see the salt strong guys r following your lead about the mono instead of floro

Anyways to cut to the chase I'm in Bonita Springs Florida not sure if you heard of it or not. But you know my whereabouts. So the huge question is how has the red tide been in your neck of the woods and where are the closest spots to go snook fishing I feel like we're going to get robbed the entire season?... I know that was a long one but a response would be much appreciated... Thanks

Hey, instead of putting your weight above your bait or lure ,tie a short piece of mono or whatever to the eye of your hook about 2-3 in. below .It takes your bait down head first the way it would swim. and if get caught up you will just lose your weight not your whole rig.
i know you keep snook when In season but i think all fishermen should endorse catch and release only for a couple years since the red tide was so brutal on the population!
Have any recommendations on shore fishing spots north of Ft Meyers? Like to take my kids shore fishing and Charlotte Harbor has limited access. Especially spots where they can go in for a swim. I like blue water not the harbor brown.

Any SW Florida beach is going to hold Snook starting in a couple of weeks all summer long. That is as long as the red tide stays away.
