    I've also been there and its was sooooo fantastic. Well but corona started while were in thailand and this hotel was nearly completely empty. We were like less than 30 people there.
    But that was a amazing time there!!! Great video ;)

    I stayed there in 1996. Was it badly hit by the tsunami?

      @thailandtony  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, That particular hotel is quite a way from Krabi town or Ao Nang and you would need transport to be able to reach the main area's however there are a few shops and restaurants near to the Dusit Thani but not too many

    Hi Tony. I've heard that patong as closed down today. I have a friend in karon. Is there any truth in this or is she other exaggerating.?

    • @thailandtony

      I have not heard of this and I can not see that taking place. The only news I have heard is connected to songkran events in Bangla road, the water party which normally takes place there has been cancelled. There has been talk that one of the minister's are suggesting the closure of bars and clubs however this is only a suggestion at the moment not actual fact. I'm guessing people are posting on social media once again incorrect facts and here say. I would remind your friend there are now new stronger laws regarding posting fake news in Thailand that could damage tourism people posting on any social media sites need to be careful if their facts are incorrect . Already several cases of this where people have been heavily fined and also face possible jail time due to posting fake news people should think very carefully before posting something they are not 100% sure is actually fact.
