I’ve worked on a ski hill for a while and you always stick close to the tree line if you have to go on the runs that you are building snow up on or haven’t been checked yet. This was also strictly enforced as there was a former employee who would have been caught in an avalanche if they hadn’t followed this rule.
I worked at a ski resort and they used to find bodies in the tree wells cause around the trees the snow is loose and you can fall in and get covered so I was thinking he should avoid the trees but I'm not very experienced and didn't go in the backcountry but if this was a place where there was avalanche danger like they said then I guess the strategy you're talking about would be called for

Me: An introvert that spends 95% of my time alone and thought I knew myself
Ken: So few people get to know themselves so intimately….
Amazing recap of this sad story...understand wanting wilderness solitude but...bad when u get hurt so bad🤦🏻♀️💔
Allways have someone with ya going to place like this anything can happen put fair play to the man he has a heart like stone and a body like a lion brilliant stories I watch them all the time
I'm always astounded at the numbers of males, like this one, who are wanting their solitude....until they are in need of rescue. Then the folks they wanted not to see are risking their lives to rescue them. Please, please guys STOP going it alone especially when it's a no brainier that you have chosen a truly dangerous adventure.
😂. Go away.
@@Spartan-Of-Truth Go away? Go away? That's not a nice reply to my own opinion (which I do believe I'm still entitled to). I'm not gonna return the sentiment....have a g'day!
@@suesingleton4927 Cool story, loser.
Totally agree.
Amén 🙏
Absolutely amazing!
I don't know about you, but I got cold just watching this. And it's the middle of Summer!
This guy shouldn’t have been on the mountain alone if he was that overconfident I’m his abilities. I’ve worked on a ski hill for a while and you always stick close to the tree line if you have to go on the runs that you are building snow up on or haven’t been checked yet. This was also strictly enforced as there was a former employee who would have been caught in an avalanche if they hadn’t followed this rule.
I worked at a ski resort and they used to find bodies in the tree wells cause around the trees the snow is loose and you can fall in and get covered so I was thinking he should avoid the trees but I'm not very experienced and didn't go in the backcountry but if this was a place where there was avalanche danger like they said then I guess the strategy you're talking about would be called for
Transfagarashan is a scenic drive in Romania, but it can be deadly in the winter, which starts in early November. Transilvania is pretty much south, but it can get to -20 degrees Celsius. I remember going to school and my nose nostrels sticking and the snow squicking under my boots.
Your time as a channel is limited .. but thanks for uploading these for now. 🤣
Why ?
Imagine being dropped off in snow covered mountains in a foreign country completely alone with no means of communication. But all that was your idea. 😶
4:12 lol I don't care how much of a boss you are. The only people running like this, at that elevation are ultra marathon runners 😂 (I know cause I've tried to race them) 😂😂
A person would have to be certifiably insane to want to do this, and to do it alone is even worse. That's almost like signing a death warrant.
