I have the same goal to make more homemade bread items. I’ve got whole wheat sourdough down but need to do bagels and tortillas myself I think your pantry challenge goals are perfect. Love your what we eat in a week content and look forward to seeing how you navigate this challenge.
Hey little lady, don’t give up on the sourdough. If it’s coming out flat, just make sure you are feeding it enough. I usually do 150 grams of flour and 150 grams of water. If it’s too much, just discard half. Another problem could be that you’re proofing it too long. If it’s over proofed it will lose its rise. It took me a while, but it’s sooo satisfying when you get that beautiful big loaf of bread. I just found your channel. Good luck😊
I really appreciate you leaving this comment. I was feeling discouraged about sourdough yesterday! Those are such helpful tips and I will for sure use them when feeding & making my sourdough! Thank you!
We have been with homemade bread for awhile and just added tortillas this year. I often miss the ease of being able to pull out quick and easy tortillas but I have stuck with it since I committed to doing it. It is more effort then a loaf of bread but similar to bagels and English muffins. The food looked yummy. Good luck with the pantry challenge.
That is amazing that you have been doing that. I just committed this year to fully doing the bread thing for my family. I make a few meals a month for other people and my only exception is buying things like that for them only if I don't have time to make it. Thanks for taking the time to watch!!
In so sorry that this took so long to show up on my pantry challenge. G guy great use of pantryintend

Great video! I’m completely jealous that you gave veggies in your garden right now!
It is a huge blessing to be able to have veggies right now. Except we just had a hard freeze last night so I am hoping everything made it.
I really liked this format. It was relaxing to watch 😊
Thank you so much, that means a lot!

I like not wasting food and try to explain to my 25 old son.
I see you used Spelt flour! Do you like it?
I do like the spelt flour. I usually mix it half and half with all purpose flour.
