- I just received my new Saddleback Leather Medium ID Bifold Wallet - a newly released product from Saddleback Leather Company. I don't think there are any other videos on it yet, so I'm excited to have reviewed it. Also, I'm updating my review of the Dark Coffee Brown Trifold Wallet that I purchased over two years ago. Also includes appearances of the Tobacco Front Pocket ID Wallet and the Tobacco Valet Tray. Stay tuned for other updates - I'm enjoying this and will do more - Including the Walnut Squared Backpack and Walnut Medium Notepad Holder - and more as my collection grows. I should - I will admit though that I've only been using it for travel when I need to carry more cash, cards, etc. I just love the slimness of the Front Pocket ID and I can fit all the cards I need since I don't carry a lot of cash.
Nice review! How well does the Medium ID Bifold fit in a front pocket? I currently have the Front Pocket ID Wallet and really like it, but want something with RFID shielding for my ID. But I want it to still fit in my front pocket.
I never answered this...sorry. I don't put it in my front pocket since I usually have my phone in one and keys in the other. I put this in my jacket or back pocket. It could fit in your front pocket , but it would definitely print.
Can u do an update on the tobacco ?

is it though? My large bifold came with a card inside that said "Your children are going to fight over this wallet"
This wallet has a 100 year warranty meaning that it almost certainly will outlive YOU. and if by some miracle it actually does break down, you can always send it back to the company and get another one.
What did you use to patina the tobacco one?
That's just normal use. I have never treated the leather on any of my wallets.
How is the wallet after 5 years?
Not sure, I've only had it 3 years. But it still looks and feels great. No wear issue whatsoever, and nice patina.

Bam Bam Which one? The trifold is clearly bigger. Depends on your style I guess. I like the bifold though for travel when I need to carry more cash.

Jay C I’ve been using the Bifold ID wallet mostly. I love the tobacco leather it has. I pretty much stopped using the trifold altogether since I like the tobacco so much. When I need a slim profile I use the front pocket ID wallet.

@@aaronm9139 Great! After several months use, how is you're new wallet holding up? Has it slimmed down over time and easier to place cards in pockets? Do you think it fits in front pocket ok or is it too bulky? Thanks
Jay C it’s holding up great - I probably use it 40% of the time and the ID wallet the other 60%.
The cards are easier to get in and out but, not too loose. Starting to patina nicely. I’ll do a one year update next month.
I don’t like it in the front pocket but it would fit depending on how many cards you carry. Would probably leave a fade line in jean pockets over time. That’s why i like the ID wallet so much. For travel though, I like the bifold.

I'll do one soon. I've been using it more lately so it's getting a better patina. Again, I was normally using my Front Pocket ID Wallet, but now that I'm traveling a bit more for work, I like having the extra card slots and larger cash compartment. Maybe I'll do the update in May since that will be the 18 month mark.
Know it’s an old video but dam cramming 3 things at once in the same slot is never good for the slot lol

@@75thteaster54 Sorry, I haven't kept up with comments on this video - I just check every once in a long while. I still have this wallet and use it often when I need to carry cash. It's held up perfectly and looks great. At this stage I carry it maybe 25% of the time and use my Front Pocket ID wallet 75% of the time. The exceptions are when I know I'm going to carry cash and need more space for that. My son even has the Trifold wallet I reviewed 6 years ago and it's holding up great to a teen that skateboarded and has fallen many times with it (haha.) I should do a reunion update on all these wallets since this video seems to be pretty popular still.

Ken Robinson I gave it to my son - sorry? I had it up for sale on the SBL Buy Sell Trade Facebook group, but nobody bit. Great place to buy used though.
If you think a saddleback is too expensive, buy a used one on ebay. Like Saddleback said "Even if you find it in a dumpster you get the 100 year warranty"

I never said I carry all those cards. I was demonstrating how many it could fit on day one. I said multiple times I would only carry a fraction of those cards.
