    Just stumbled upon this, really good review! The X7 is so much sexier than the GLS.

      Thanks man! Really appreciate that. I'm actually testing the GLS 63 this week so stay tuned for that

    I launched my new X7 M50i and it was timed at 3.9 seconds to 60 mph. Super fast SAV.

      it's one of my favorite in the segment

    So out the door, the price will be $140,000 after all options are added along with all fees?? Wow.....that's a terrible price.... if you need a 7 passenger vehicle then just get a van....anyone is better off using that $140,000 to buy something else.... you can get a brand new Honda Odyssey van for $40k... with the $100k left over, you can get a very pristine certified pre-owned Porsche Panamera mid trim like 4S....

    I like the bench seats because you can have a third in the middle but also with the bench the second row will fold flat vs with the no folding captain seats. But also if you have the third row folded and have things in back they won’t slide pass the the second row.

    Thanks for detailed brief coverage
    I think some people count the cup holders on the doors so they will say 10 instead of 8

    Being an owner, one correction if you choice the 22" wheels and summer tires top speed is 155.

    Is that exhaust sound with the mic from where the camera is or closer to the exhaust? It sounds amazing

    • @omardrives
      @omardrives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Mic is closer to the exhaust! and it does sound amazing in person as well

      @@omardrives oh okay. Is that a cold engine or hot engine? When you were revving

    • @omardrives
      @omardrives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A little bit of both. I turn it off between shots so can't remember if I had it off for a long time before doing the revvs. But this thing sounds great in both situations. You even have great feedback inside the cabin when you're pushing it

      @@omardrives that’s good to hear. I recently got my 40i lease taken over back when everything shut down since I wasn’t driving it. I got a dark shadow edition M50i coming in December so stoked!

    I wish BMW on their x models would of went with rear taillights from end to end. The taillights look good but they would of looked better.

    Fantastic Review Omar! One of the best I have seen and I have seen them all. You mentioned you are averaging 13.5 miles per gallon but it is rated 15/21. Why are you getting so little ? Thanks for such a great review covering all aspects of this beast !

    • @omardrives
      @omardrives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! Really appreciate that. I was averaging 13.5 because I was just really pushing it all week. If you drive it like a normal person I'm pretty sure you'll get better numbers

    A terrible car brand with horrendous reliability problems and horrible depreciation......that's BMW..... I know because I owned a 5 series, a 6 cylinder X5, another X5 with V8 M sports package..... all had horrendous reliability problems.... one had major electrical problems after just 3 weeks of ownership.... one has power seat problems along with dashboard problems that a complete replacement and a brand new stereo system.... the other new a complete engine rebuild...... will never buy BMW again......maybe lease only..... my grandma still has her 2006 Lexus LX 470 with ZERO problem and still drives like brand new.... my mom no zero problem with her 2010 Lexus LS460 L... BMW is expert at producing lemons .

      Thanks for sharing, but I have to ask why would you keep buying BMWs time and time again if you had issues each time? Although I can see now you’ve reached your limit ;-)
