#docker #jellyfin #plex #intro #anime #tv #shows #skip - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Does not work on version 10.9.2
Edit: Switched to jumoog/intro-skipper, a fork of ConfusedPolarBeard, which works on latest version of Jellyfin
thanks for the tutorial, deserves a great thumps up :D
Glad you found it helpful 👍
Hey nice video, I am new to the Home server things and I am definitely going to follow this tutorial. One simple request that I have is there is no video explaining how to setup jellyscrub on jellyfin, I really tried following the steps I found online but unfortunately didn't manage to work with me, so if you could do a video explaining it that would be helpful.
Noted
Is this still doable without using docker ? Just on a plain old windows setup ? Will the polar bear repository address still work as standard ?
It should be possible yes. The steps are basically the same except that u have to overwrite jellyfin web interface (it's going to be in a folder on yur Filesystem) with the new web interface
Thanks for the tutorial. Does this also work on Android TV client (skip intro button)?
Hey unfortunately this won't work on Jellyfins Android TV App, since the skip button is reliant on the modified webui. You Could however set it to autoskip (as discussed at the end of the video). The findroid app also supports this plugin. So you could also try installing findroid on your Android TV using a third party App Store. Although i dont know how well Android TV would handle it, it might be worth a try though.
You could also try using a Browser to access the Webui. In that case you should definitely see the skip button. Although that obviously has some major downsides compared to using the native app
Hey, great video! Unfortunately, I didn't manage to make this work. I'm guessing it's because I don't use local storage but instead a rclone mount. Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem?
Hey, no not rly :(. Maybe try and test it using local storage to see whether or not this is rly the issue
Hi... long shot but any chance you help to fix folder write access .. Jellyfin, Truenas. Let me know. Cheers
Not really. But if you haven't yet look into making sure the uid and gid of ur user match those of your nfs share
It would have been a good idea to mention the "Native" instructions available for the modified web interface. I run my Jellyfin on windows server (yes, I know, I would get more out of Linux) and I got stuck for a bit trying to figure out what to do for my case. Thankfully I RTFM and found the native instructions!
Cheers for this.
Good point
why file can changes for change css ? for button skip
Yes, that requires the default css to be overwritten
How can I make Jellyfin able to play content on TV (play it on the device) without installing the client on TV?
my jellyfin can't see my TV
Depends on your TV. Most have a browser that can be used to access the Webui. just type in : and you should be presented with jellyfins webui. Obviously you need to be on the same network
@@LeoLabTechBad idea. Very uncomfortable.
You cannot.
You need something to 'read' the server.. An app or webpage
Imagine your jellyfin server content is the same as TH-cam server content
How do you access TH-cam content? A website or app is needed.
@@jjmmjj9999 DLNA does not require an application or the web, it is enough that the TV and the server support it
Remember the development is not going to continue and intro skipper won't work any more in the latest version of JF. 10.9.x
All the forks are just forks
Any other workhng method for JF 10.9?
this is useless
Tell me you don't use docker without telling me.
