Thanks for sharing your journey! Vac scheme applications are indeed really stressful, do you have any recommendations where to practise the Watson Glaser test?

Hey! I found this website particularly useful. www.assessmentday.co.uk/watson-glaser-critical-thinking.htm
They provide free practices with question AND solution, which really helps you to understand where went wrong :) They also provide video tutorials for each section!
Here are some other helpful sites:

Did you secure any vacation scheme? And any tips for interviews?

hi there! unfortunately i was unable to secure a vac scheme but i made it to 2 assessment centres, i’ll be talking more about assessment centres in a following video and what i’ve learnt from my mistakes! just some general tips for interviews:
      - be fully prepared to answer questions on your motivations (eg. why law? why X firm? why commercial law?)
      - be prepared to elaborate/talk about any experiences you’ve mentioned in ur application (eg. extracurriculars) and link them back to why you would be a good candidate!
      - prepare for situational judgment questions (eg. what would you do if you were an associate, busy with several tasks, and your supervisor asks you to complete another task?) in answering your question, be sure to frame your answers in a clear structure (first, i would… if not i would…)
      - prepare for case study questions by finding out what are some key considerations a lawyer would consider in different types of transactions (eg. m&a, joint venture, supplier-purchaser). you can reach out to lawyers through linkedin or during an internship to find out!
      hope this helps!
