I enjoy watching channels like Pints With Aquinas, Bishop Robert Barron, the Thomistic Institute, and Counsel of Trent. Archbishop Sheen's old television programs are fun to watch. Chesterton and Lewis's wit are equal parts entertaining and thought-provoking. However, there seem to be very few resources dedicated to daily life as a Catholic lay-person. Your channel was the first I have seen to be able to really convey what everyday life as a devout Catholic may consist of. I really appreciate your videos on consecrations, devotions, etc. I think it has really helped to calm my mind and not try to worry so much about being exactly theologically, rationally, and metaphysically perfect. You have also helped me to look at things from a more feminine perspective, which is extremely helpful. Thank you for what you do, and God bless you.
Well said, Amber! I got social media about the same time. My first one was Twitter, at the time where people were sharing everything about their lives. I’ve had almost every social media up to five years ago and, other than TH-cam, i don’t get on them anymore because of the reasons you shared. Social media can easily become toxic for us if we don’t have any limits or boundaries. Thank you so much for sharing this video. Keep making these videos. Already deleted it. Yup. That app is a NoNo. Full of adult content and full of explicit images and videos. Feels like a sin while using that app. Good think I snapped out of that stuff. God is great!!!!

It was last year that my family (including my parents, might I add) quit Facebook, Instagram, etc. We had the same approach to social media previously where we wanted to evangelise on every platform that we were in. However, other than doing that and getting our news updates, it included following what our flesh are drawn to, watching silly trends, and learning memes by heart. We thank God for moving us away from such temptations and the evil that lies behind those platforms in the first place. We also knew about the bosses and shareholders that were really anti-God and anti-Christians to the point of "cancelling" either directly or indirectly (through their programming), and decided to stand against them. I hope more people will quit and delete the apps PERMANENTLY, and instead feed on the word of God, pray the Holy Rosary, and attend Mass. There's no excuse for any of these. It is believed that the window to evangelise through these social media may be closed, or at least, going to close soon. Nevertheless, may we never stop praying for the salvation of souls as our Lady of Fatima asked.
To be safe i Don't have any of those apps, not Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, or ticktock. I have not missed it!!!! The only "negative" was no one remembered my birthday, which doesn't matter because those were just empty birthday wishes. I have loved TH-cam because it has actually evangelized me, and taught me how to be the best Christian I can be. I make sure to delete all accounts that I don't support, and only keep up with my subscribed accounts like this one. There is an addictive element to this platform too, but it's not as bad as with those Apps which you have to keep up with constantly.

I’m a young teen/tween, and my parents are very restrictive about social media. Honestly, I’m starting to be more grateful for that. I’ve never been allowed TikTok, and never will, even though it means that a lot of the time I can’t fit in with all my modern, social-media loving friends. The only platform I’m really allowed on is TH-cam, and if I’m that desperate for social media, I go on TH-cam and will watch videos of Catholic TikTok’s (or Art or animals, because none of us are perfect lol) because I know it’s more filtered. Thanks for being such an inspiration!❤️
I've been struggling to delete tiktok for months and this video finally made me commit. Thank you for everything you do in your ministry and for inspiring people. There are many good catholic creators on tiktok, but I have decided that it isn't worth being on due to the other harmful content on the app.

i used to manage my daughter’s tik tok but her mother and i decided that it was best deleting it. it is very interesting - the human psyche; the generational gap is too damn high lol
When I had Tiktok I just reported the things that were degenerate I followed weightlifters, history, military, comedy skits, etc I wasn't a catholic yet but still socially conservative Limiting use is a good practice, I'll try that

Hello, as a currently 22 yr old aut!stic woman I never felt the social pressure (nor cared about it) to post anything on my Facebook, didn't even want to show my face. Eventually I deleted it because I thought it was "dumb". I stayed social media free (except TH-cam viewing) until I got a little too curious about TikTok. I've deleted the app 4 times and end up reinstalling it after a while, just for consumption purposes not even to post anything. As someone else has said, it's like "crack cocaine", have to physically pull yourself away lest you scroll for the rest of eternity.
Great discussion about the potential exposure to evil on Social media. I use social media. Not as a Content creator, because my skill at explaining our faith Is poor. I'm not a good commicator. I contribute my thoughts in others who create opportunities for civil discussion, like you IG, and YT pages.
