Hi Mark, thank you so much for this incredible video! You do such a great job at teaching and explaining things in a simple easy to understand way much appreciated! I realize this video is quite old but I’m hoping someone can answer my question: I learned in the comment section that you were using number two argentum silver triangle wire and what I wondered is that the same wire that you hammered with the dead blow hammer? In the video it looked like the wire you were hammering was flat wire.? Thank you again for this amazing video! I’ll definitely be watching it over and over again. 🙏🏼😊👍🏼
Thanks for the question! Yes, the bracelet being made here uses the number 2 triangle shaped Argentium wire. Currently we we carry Argentium triangle wire in sizes 1 and 1.5, which are both slightly larger than what Mark is using in this video. www.riogrande.com/product/argentium-silver-triangle-wire-dead-soft/108750GP/?code=108751 Another option would be to use sterling silver triangle wire, which is available in 10 different sizes, including the size 2 that is used here. www.riogrande.com/product/sterling-silver-triangle-wire-dead-soft/100602GP/?code=100602
Great tutorial, very useful information/techniques, but unfortunately the resolution is so bad I can't see any of the detail work you've done. Some of the comments below help to clarify obvious questions, but still, wish I could better see the results you are getting as you go along. Especially that ridge you describe...can't really get a look at it here!
Thanks for watching Cathy. That is indeed Triangle wire size #2. In this case i used Argentium Sterling. You can check it out at this link www.riogrande.com/Product/Argentium-Silver-2-Triangle-Wire-Dead-Soft/103673 Hope this helps. Mark N Tech
Hi i have a old "FINE SILVER" bracelet i made in class a couple of years ago i was wondering if i can cut it and make rings out of it and if so how do i go about it? It also turned colors from not being worn. Love your teaching!
I would really like to have been able to see the detail...it was like looking through coke bottle lenses...surely this could be cleaned up to be visually perfect.
Hi Ursula, Thank you for your feedback. Since this video was filmed nearly 10 years ago, we understand that the resolution isn't quite what we're used to seeing these days; however, we think the content and instructions are still helpful. We hope you're also able to enjoy some of our latest videos where you'll see a much improved resolution that's available to us today. Thanks again for watching.
Very confusing video - you start with a flat bracelet and then, through some miracle,,get a ridge bracelet. Huh?? You definitely missed a step. Or I did.
+Nancy Dunn Hi Nancy, i actually started with a Triangle wire. In the video though it does look like it might be flat stock. I hope this helps. Mark N Tech
This is such a good and helpful teaching video from Rio Grande, the teacher is precise, relaxed and to the point-Thank-you!

When your filing should you collect the dust and if so what could you use it for?
Yes. Put it with your scrap and send it in...you get money for it.
Thanks 😄
Nice
Having a hard time seeing because video is blurry.
Too blurry to watch.
Shelley Platt : this one was made back in 2009.
This looks like it starts off as a flat piece of silver but it also looks like it turns into a ridge shape through the centre....did I miss something?
she63ful he hammers the sides first either that or it's triangular wire...
she63ful yah it's triangular

Yes, it is such bad resolution it’s difficult to see. MAYBE you could redo this very helpful video again but at a higher resolution??? Please? Thanks.
