Da Coconut Nut is a novelty song, composed by Ryan Cayabyab and originally performed by Smokey Mountain. This song is internationally known and mostly performed by chorale groups. The MV was shot at the PBB house where they were staying during their training days. This was at the height of the pandemic lockdown also at the time ABS-CBN suffered financial loss due to losing their franchise.

@@thelapids wow! thank you! that means a lot. no, i not from SD. i'm from the Philippines. but i've been there twice. 2012 and 2013. i was part of a dance crew that represented the country in HipHop International(just in case you guys know it). took a short vacation in SD(for both years) right after the event in Las Vegas. i miss it so much! La Jolla, Balboa Park, the dance studios, everything. i hope to be back one day. it's such a special place for me and i get too excited when i talk about it. haha!

Boy groups "sell" more than girl groups. Especially in the philippines. But Bini is getting there. Id say theyre the most known local GG. Theyre in the top 3 for sure, along with SB19 and BGYO (boy groups).

try searching for 'da coconut nut' and you'll see why they chose the song as pre debut. Its a piece being used by a lot of chorale groups around the world. There's also video of this which have hundred million views also, so i can't blame whoever did this to them 😅. You'll also notice the bump in production quality on their most recent songs because there's a period where producer abscbn had a though time financially and ppop does not have huge following back then. This is a video that we can all keep on the back of our heads I agree 😅 but glad the community is starting to recognize ppop groups. I would suggest you guys react to ALAMAT
