OK first off, in a split second Aiah 😍 With that out of the way, there is a LOT of autotune in this track. Most obvious in the vocal riffs/runs/melismas/whatever you wan to call them but it's everywhere. The 8bit arcade sound is a playful choice. I like the bass line, really groovy. The language itself makes for some interesting phrasing. Definitely different than what I'm accustomed to but I like it. It's not a song that will go on my playlist but it was interesting to listen to. Thanks. I looked it up: "Lagi is the Malay word that is used to describe something that is more or greater than usual which can be for the better or for worse."
Actually the only autotune is in Sheena’s part & they recently performed it live at Tugatog concert with her keeping that effect perfectly. Currently my fave 🎧 & so I’d BGYO’s.
It was definitely different than what I’m used to as well, but I enjoyed it overall. It definitely has me intrigued so I’ll be checking out some of their other videos!

To be more specific I'm talking about tuning corrections in the studio after the fact. It doesn't necessarily have to be real time autotune, (like the kind used live for an effect) it could be Variaudio, Melodyne or some other tool. They're not the only group I hear it in anyways. I don't think Ive heard a K-pop group, or most modern music in general without tuning corrections. It's pretty standard these days. It's just a bit more than I expected in this case.
