I had a front brake issue just like that. Went over a 40-45 ish foot double one day (never hit it before) panicked in the air and low and behold I buttered the landing. My excitement was short lived as my front end tucked and shit whipped me into the face of the next double. My go to now is to take my finger off the front brake on takeoff and put it back on at the apex when I'm in the air.

i have the same issue but with the clutch when I case a big jump
So. Concur. Switch MTB brakes.
