My great grandpa was a really good hunter. He loved hunting a bunch. He made a shop in his basement and he started really small but then he grew and became a big Matthew’s seller in our town and in Ohio. He has that same Matthew’s sign in his shop that you have hanging above the big wall of deer mounts. He hunted many animals and traveled to many places. He hunted things from mountain lions to whitetail to wildebeast. He was the one that taught me, my brother, my dad, and a friend of mine how to shoot a bow. He passed away a few months ago and the shop had to close but, I said this because the videos that u post remind me of him and your videos are so great and entertaining. Love watching them.
Lee you do not need to explain yourself and tell people it’s not to brag. First and foremost your love for White Tail is obvious and if viewers don’t understand that they haven’t followed you all long enough. Secondly, you have every right to brag. Awesome man cave!! Congrats on the engagement. I watched your Ohio Odyssey recently, AWESOME DEER!! I grew up in Sandusky County, Ohio back in the '70's, before they even had a deer season. Looked a lot like where I grew up. Flat farm land with scattered woods. I live in west Cobb now, but hunt up in Kentucky on my sister's farm. Monster bucks are few and far between due to the hunting pressure. Plenty of does to fill the freezers though.
I'd spend hours and hours in that room if I had the chance. And to hear the stories that go along with each one would make it even sweeter. I've seen quite a few of those harvested on your channel here, but we all know you can't put everything into the videos that we watch. What about a half pillar in the room where you could mount 4 more on and put wheels on it so it can move out of the way when you are in there? That room is the cat's meow, looks fantastic! Excited to see what 2024 brings
An absolute dream of a man cave that many of us would love to have. All of those bucks 🦌 deserved the respect 🫡 of having their own spot on the wall and now they do. I currently have one nice shoulder mount and euro mount. I know that I won’t catch up anytime soon, but hopefully 🙏 by the grace of God I will get my first deer 🦌 in Ohio now that I’m a resident. 😃🏹🦌

his style of hunting is not going to correlate to the average hunter conditions. The deer he is after are semi tame and not use to hunting pressure on small tracts of land. the same tactics can not be used to consistently take good bucks are bigger tracts of land.

Hi Lee and everyone from northwest Missouri my uncle Norman used to take care of a cattle farm he was checking on the cattle and calves one spring morning while walking by a old brush mound he noticed a rather large shed laying on top of mound he walked up it should have been a 7 point side but all points were chewed down to a inch above the main beam and the browtine was a inch tall it weighed right at 5 pounds even without the tines me and my brother Lee Moad was out driving around at dusk that fall the buck that dropped that shed was standing 50 yards from the mound where he dropped the shed he looked like a elk standing there was the only time he was ever seen in the daytime and he was never killed even though there was lot's of Hunter's after him 😮
Back to those huge sheds you found, I wanted to share how similar those antlers are to a deer I shot in 2018. With just the antlers and skull plate they weighed 9.8 pounds, and he scored 224” gross, 212” net, and had 7 inch bases! I thought it was really cool when you said you scored it at 223” and they weighed just under 10 pounds! Anyways loved the video!! I love trophy room tours and can’t wait to make my own one day!

Lee two things to remember because your a hunter. One, don't get married during hunting season. Two don't have kids during hunting season. I did and it did go well for me. The wood stain is amazing.

But with marrige, comes baby lee. Then your glory days will be soon behind you. You will find yourself still chacing big deer. But it wont ever be the same. Little Lee will require allot of dad time. And it's hard to get them in a tree. But it's all worh it. Atleast You've acheived more in your present life than most won't ever achive in there whole lives. Congratulations brother. The life of a buck man will truly test the loyalty of a woman.
