I want my first ebike to have some light off road capability and have generally ignored cargo bike reviews. You piqued my interest in this bike seeing you riding it off road. Look forward to your full review.
i have the original xpedition 1.0 i would love to upgrade to this since i always take my 2 small kids with me and the extra room inside the orbiter would be amazing. only thing holding me back and no one even mentions is that the original 1.0 has a 48 inch wheel base and this newer 2.0 is much longer with a 54.2 inch wheel base. Meaning the orgional xpedition fits on all ebike racks and the new one will not fit on the vast majority of ebike racks. It wont fit on my current thule easy fold rack.
I’d love to hear how it compares with the more expensive Radwagon 5 or Flyer Via Pro. Thanks for noting the difficulty in raising the kickstand. Did it feel more stable than the previous generation? Want to be sure it’s stable when loading two kids on the rear rack.
It had more of a footprint on the ground which is nice because of the larger feet but it’s hard to say if it sturdier that their original. I think it was harder to put down because it’s further back and gets wider as it opens. If you keep one of the legs off the ground when putting it down it seemed a little bit easier.
Thanks for asking. Here is the link to the Cloud 9 seat I have (Disclaimer this is an affiliate link and I will receive a commission if you use this link) amzn.to/2PX84mA

Hmm might be a good point. I’ll have to try it on my bike rack when I get one.
Great video. That area looks oddly familiar.
Thanks Dude!
New bike same price I love it I'm buying one too
There is a huge market for people that are not thrill seekers or are afraid of Johnny Law.

Awesome video! We’ve just launched a new electric bike and think it’d be great to collaborate. Sent you an email-looking forward to your response!
