Got a 2008 Bianchi S9 Matta titanium that has an almost chromed finish. The decals are ragged and dirty looking and actually give the bike an almost max max look. Despite the dystopian chic I'm leaning towards removing all of them and trying to polish it. I'm guessing that I'll be needing something a little finer than the red 3M pads for this?

Hi, I've got a vintage lightspeed hiawassee similar to yours that seems to be dipped in yellow coating of some sort. Do you know how I might remove the yellow?

Nail polish remover with acetone in it should get it off. Most recommend using 3m 7447 (the maroon scuffing pad) to make the surface more consistent after. I noticed that the 3m took some of the luster away from my frame but it depends on how your frame is finished.
