@Rob The Mechanic how do you have the mindfulness to keep in reminding yourself to film things you do? I've been wanting to get started on videos but I'm usually so caught up in the things I do/see that I always forget to pull out my camera. It's not until I look back at things that I realize what could've been a great video idea

I worked at a shop as an apprentice once. There was this old tech named joe who was the diagnostician there. Anytime I couldn’t figure something out I’d go to him and he’d either show me how obvious the solution was or some cool trick of the trade. One day he ordered a bunch of those pocket screwdrivers from Amazon and was handing them out to everybody in the shop. When he handed me mine he said “the most useful tool you’ll ever have won’t be a wrench or pliers or even an impact. It’ll be this little piece of metal right here that cost less than $5 but for you it’s free”. I still carry it around in my shirt pocket to this day because I’ve used it countless times for things I never even imagined I would be. Simplicity can be a beautiful thing.
