Thank you very much. It was a thill to catch. I'm just about to get him back from the taxidermist. I can't wait. I'm about to shoot a video of a nymph with an egg I had great success with this year so keep watching and thank you.
I'm assuming you're talking about 18 mile (ontario lake)? I can't imagine there was too many salmon running the 18 mile (erie). that's a beautiful brown. good video
Hi Shaun, love your videos! Would this work for steelhead do you think? If you caught a 15lb brown, I'm sure it would hold a steelhead. And, i don't think you mentioned how you would fish it, was it dead drifted under an indicator or did you just swing it like a traditional soft hackle wet?
Thanks for this pattern. Looking forward to trying it out for Steelie on the Salmon River this coming weekend!
I have copied and plagiarized as much of these steely patterns as I can. Dude, your patterns rock. Thank you.
Nice video Shawn. What a brown trout you caught!!! That must have been thrilling!!!! Ingenious fly as well. Best regards.......Kevin

Wow IDK ?? To say bout this pattern it must have caught fish! But was curious how old is this particular pattern?
It’s 8 years old. A spin off of my steelhead candy pattern. I’ve actually caught my PB brown trout on this fly, 29” and 16lb
