My mam was from Medomsley Co Durham, and worked at Consett Steelworks for 3 and half years in the steelworks during WW2 driving a crane hauling tons of steel for the war effort, she then came south to London to be a volunteer auxiliary nurse helping the dying and severely injured servicemen evacuated from the liberation of Europe. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever or will ever meet, and I can see her tapping her foot to this while she knitted warm clothes for others.
Even the intro I didn't realise i was singing Blaydon Races in my head 😁 Took me right back to St John Vianney's jnr school Hartlepool were we taught about everything from music to how to grow cress out of cotton wool 😂
Politics should always solv people's problems but..... not always so!!. Thatcherism an example critically composed/sung by Mark in this beautiful song..🌹🎶❣️
Im a Smoggie from a town a little south of Newcastle (Middlesbrough). Some of the best fellas I ever worked with were Geordies.....an excellent breed!! Anyroad.....this is ultimately a working class song, folk had to travel far and wide to earn a crust...from all parts of the country, still do. But never forget yer roots. If you asked a Geordie in Australia or Germany or America 'are you from Newcastle?'.......they wouldnt say yes....they'd say.......WHY AYE MAN!!😄
Ofcourse they do. Jesus Christ Dire Straits???????? Heard of them ffs A legend indeed. Even I am a legend, but you don't know me. Doesn't make either us less of what we do. What do i do? Mind your own beeswax 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I did Newcastle and Dublin on the last tour and may have had something in my eye as well when I thought it may be the last time I see him play live...

Everything about your comment here is correct.
Blaydon Races in intro
Amore vero
7:52 Instrumental based on Urge Overkill - Girl You’ll be a woman soon
That was a Neil Diamond song. Urge Overkill only covered it.
🎸🎶🏴
GEORDIES...!!!
High fives for Glasgow and Newcastle 💙🤍
El audio suena brutal, como lo has conseguido?

5:44 You're a genius but too old now for this
His mistakes sound better than most other guitarists playing perfectly.
First song of the first show of the tour - cut him some slack! 🙂
@@DavidG-u2k of course! Mark is awesome but i'd prefer see him enjoy playing and not doing his job
