- I'm not here to tell you to leave your social media. I'm here to tell you how social media works and if you aren't aware of what it does, then you become oblivious to its effects. Social media can be a helpful tool if used properly to enhance your life, but also a tool to negatively affect your life. Many people on social media are influenced 24/7 to buy ideas, things, opinions, people's lives, and more. Our time, focus, and energy are the currency we are given every day and what we spend on time on is what we really do care for.
