    Another great video Bob! I'm so jealous of all your facilities and supplies. You have way too much fun. And I love that you polish those front rims. A 110,000% detail would include that regardless of the streaks or not. I guarantee the dealer didn't have that truck looking that good when they delivered it to the customer.

    Well I just spent 6 hours watching video after video, lol. I ran a small detailing company out of my garage about 15 years ago. I still watch video all the time. Enjoy how you edit and also very cool to see your process. I liked how the soap injection improved over the videos and on some how you mark the levels for us to see how much it takes for certain size of job. They well put together!

    Regarding *brushes...I opted for them long ago. I use long handle ones, medium & short ones all dedicated to one task. Long for roof/hood/trunk...short for windows cowl/windshield/grill & medium for sides. I rinse them often and wash them thoroughly after done. Just one observation: I would have hit the cab and nose grill first with a fresh brush then after moved over to the back sides & rear. Just my preference to not drag contaminants and particulate to the glass/chrome, car's paint and decal lettering. But again great job! You are my favorite here.

    • @ChemX
      @ChemX  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yeah in hindsight I’d do the same I think I’d even keep a brush that’s dedicated to rough areas and keep a fresh one for up around the cab area, the grit guard bucket seemed to work really well for me also

    The mud flaps are probably stained with red dye diesel. We spray diesel onto the dovetail and mud flaps because it keeps the asphalt from sticking. It breaks the mix down and makes it easier to scrape big chunks off after dumping out. However there usually isn't a wash down on site to get everything off completely so it dries into the rubber and the dye stains it.

    Very good, finally a detail channel without over-the-top behavior and chambers to sweep the last bit of dirt out of imaginary corners. Cleaning is a necessary evil for many and the protagonist leaves no doubt that there are things in his life that he prefers to do like cleaning other people's dirt away. 👍 Very clear and, above all, honest, if the products don't make everything shine ultra deep in the blink of an eye, because none of the others do that either! 😉

I just wanted to experiment with cleaning products and so far I learn from you and all the Chemicals n equipment you use to make things easier is great. Love the workshop setup and trolley. I got to use different brushes for the back and side walls full of heavy grease n tarmac. Keep these videos coming. There so informative. T.c. God Bless.

    I clean some type trucks. I use a bunch of different brushes just use softer ones on paint to not scratch but yeah if the thing is getting gravel and mud n dirt on it doesn't really matter. use soft brush for paint and glass and then tougher bristles on everything else. my trick is use pressure washer and a brush to clean the other brushes.. keeps the junk from being trapped potentially scratching something else. as long as you're mindful of what chemicals tools and pressure you're using. you'll be fine

    I purchased some m-shine,d-lime and tire+trim to use on my dumptruck. Was that tire+trim applied full strength on the frame and engine bay?

    • @ChemX
      @ChemX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you I appreciate it! Yeah tire and trim is silicone based and can’t be cut but you can apply it sparingly and get distance with it

    Should I be using a microfiber style “mitt on a stick” instead of the green brushes for brush style washes to reduce scratching?? I see you use the microfiber more often in videos. P.S. I have dark colored trucks if that matters in picking. Thanks!!

    • @ChemX
      @ChemX  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t know for sure but for some reason the mitt material seems less likely to scratch lol

      @@ChemX you guys should look at selling a type of microfiber on a stick. Hate looking else where cause I know with you guys it’s gonna be great quality and field tested to back it up!

    Will D Lime 90 get rid of tar on rims? I got these beautiful OEM rims on my Mercury that came with a factory package. But some kind of tar, glue like stuff is dried on and can't even be sanded off.

    Hey so wat is that attachment u said to use that’s great for undercarriage and stuff. When u said all of this hand washing stuff or wen u contact the outside with ur towel that’s me I just started detailing. Ur a great inspiration. I continue to learn from u. Thankyou

    • @ChemX

      Undercarriage attachments are pretty useful this thing can help ya get weird angles but it’s tiring to use while it’s turned sideways, an undercarriage attachment is more comfortable over time
