You have a lot of "no-go" items but you don't say why they are not recommended. I think we need to know why you don't like products like Chemical Guys Diablo. What does it do or not do that you don't like? I use the Absorber drier after using a leaf blower to dry my car. What do you think is wrong with The Absorber?
For my wheels, I use the Meguiars hot rims wheel cleaner, which has been my favorite for many many years. For the tire shine, I use Meguiars hot shine tire coating. Love the wet look it gives. For my interior cleaner, I use my chemical guys non scented total interior cleaner/protectant. I personally like it because it's non scented.

I stay stocked with Stoner's Glass Cleaner, its one of the best out there and been using them for over 20yrs. Diablo is weak, i use it to wash my rags with 😅😅😅😅😅 but that VRP will get you right as it has mutliple uses.
Anybody who pays to get their car detailed is either rich or has money to spend. Simply just do it yourself. No sense in spending $500 on a full detail and then having a bird shit on your car overnight. Clearly if you leave your car parked outdoors, do not pay for a detail.

What do you use to remove water spots? Do you ever use any kind of compound, wax or polish? I understand that you mention the spray on detailers, do you use any rub on applied wax, polish, coumpound, clay bars? Great video thank you for the advice.
Sorry but maguires shammy are by far the best. Armor all contains alcohol that will fade anything its applied on! STAY AWAY. Another pro tip that will save you cash and not scratch up paint. I learned taking couch padding or cushion and cutting in pieces and using to wash cars works even better than wash mitts and will cut costs by alot. Beware of wash mitts that claim to be microfiber. If you look closely you'll see they use different materials in the mitts besides microfiber. Really look. Couches are always thrown away and you can find just about anywhere for free.
Paint brushes will last longer and you won't keep having to purchase things you don't need! Auto mitts will make scratches in car. Chemical guys is best there. Acetone will make any rim like new. Don't waste time on scrubbing, only use once in a while but cars must he maintained with brush. Just don't buy a brush thinking you're gonna make a grimey wheel looking new only using a brush and soap. Not gonna happen. Wonderful product reviews.
I honestly can’t complain with the meguires ceramic sprays……. (Blue and green bottles by his shoulder at 4:32) use the blue bottle as your initial wax coating and touch up with the green bottle ceramic detailer. Both have fantastic results if you spray on a clean wet car and power wash from the bottom up then top down to rinse.
Lmao placed my comment before you said the same thing…….. one thing I would add, in my experience I get the best results if you let the blue bottle cure for 3 hours or so before stacking the ceramic detailer. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Great video. I’m a mechanic but love detailing my own cars. I hate Walmart stopped selling all the Jay Lenos products and replaced them with Adam’s. I had great luck with the Jay Lenos Garage stuff. Personally I like the Turtle Wax wheel cleaner the best and their wash as well but good wash soap isn’t hard to find. But I grab Sprayway glass cleaner over anything else but that’s just my opinion.
As a soon-to-be ex-Detail Garage owner, you were spot on for why it’s locked up. 😂 Shits trash. 4 years ago I would’ve recommended it to anyone, hence why I owned the store. Since they sold out to an equity firm in 2021, everything is different.
I only had a $75 dollar budget for detailing and, I am sorry but I had to use Armorall. As I make more money, I will use something like Chemical guys, Adams polishes, suds labs and Meguiars.

You tend to forget that a full detail can cost more then $250 the detailer sets the price so why laugh at that it takes time. What if the car looks like shit your still can charge below that? You need a lot to learn man
There are two distinct formulas. One is commercial grade and the other is consumer grade. You can usually tell by the label. You can always tell when you use them side by side.

Meguiars hyper dressing is great for interior dressing and wheels. The chemical guys had water spot remover works pretty good. Supremes dark fury is great for bug and tar remover and wheel cleaner.
Best tire shine in my opinion is cover-all you can get it over at autozone has an amazing shine that actually lasts, even after some rain. And it doesn't sling on the body as much

They are in every Walmart , target , autozone & oriellys , Amazon, it takes thousands of dollars to get a spot on a shelf let alone everywhere. I have a 2020 Kia Telluride and I'm not able to wash my car st the apartment complex. I usually go to Mister Car Wash for cleaning. What can i use to manually wax the vehicule after car wash with a dry application and still get a good effect. Haven't waxed car since purchase (6/14/2019)

Armor All is not very good but when i started i used it because it was a good price and well cleaned i thought when i started try using the stuff he mentioned in this video its pricey but it works.
Purple Power Concentrate will strip everything, so no need for a bug cleaner and brake buster. I use the Chemical Guy's citrus gloss and shine, then Meguiar's Hybrid ceramic wax. It seems to be a kitchen sink method, but it works. The only downside for me is i did all this with hard water. So, a hard water removal is needed for me.
Think you got a little too high before filming this. Walk right past Mequire's Gold Class to recommend Honeydew Snow Foam...? That stuff is notorious for leaving behind a film. Maybe it would be less noticeable for a detailer because they will likely be wiping the vehicle down with a quick detailer or sealant after washing but a lot of consumers don't do that. Gold Class has some crazy lubricity, cleans well, and smells like money. I have a few soaps I like a little better like Perl or GSF, but if I need to pick something up anywhere in town it's Gold Class no question.

Chemical guys tire kicker is a lot better than vrp you can dilute it for the fender wells and engine bays, great for trim and tires
