If you wake up early at around 4:00 to 4:30 am, you can get a jumpstart on your day. By the time you get anywhere it will already be morning and you won't have the worry of the evil lurking below.
I tried watching another channel's play of this game and realized how important the video creator is to my enjoyment. You are so much better than the other person.
Hardware despair is doing a new playthrough of this at the mo. He has hardly any subs but is easygoing and easy to listen to. Worth checking out and I'm sure he needs the subs.
I think it would be a good idea to help the lady get her house on the other island. She did say you could visit her, maybe you could even spend the night.
To get into the locked Workshop with the alien tech you actually have to buy a $5 key with IRL money, the stuff in the workshop makes things interesting.
If you find any wood and scrap, put it in your storage, any dock that you stop at the storage where you can put those things in so they don’t get lost when you get hit or hurt
In reality, at night the dry land get colder than the ocean which generates wind and currents from land (high pressure) to ocean (low pressure) that might prevent small boats from going back to land.
Really enjoying this one too but the mystery of the story means I have to keep ahead of you on the videos. Maybe time stamps to mark story moments so folks can skip it when you edit?

You drive me insane sometimes with your lack of ability to pay attention when a game tells you EXACTLY what to do, and you even read it, then moments later you're like "oh this new thing that I was just given that also unlocked the dry dock I don't know what that thingy used for dredging up materials does and this research tree which says it needs materials found by dredging confuses me idk how to get this stuff or what it does!" Game: here's some dredge equipment so you can pick up materials and lost items. Z: huh... It's on switch, 24.99 or 26.99 for the deluxe edition that comes with the DLC that's priced at $5 if you buy it separately. Not a bad price for a new game that looks to have a fair bit of depth to it.
