Tbh,if u wanna use artisan,i recommend the tempo zero because it can reset the cooldowns of ur abilities,and since artisan relies alot of its craftsmanship,using zero can make it build double turrets (as long the ability is not very long) also,there is a secret host that u can unlock in the menu named hot rash,u can unlock it by pressing below the hourglass button modifier,for the location of the hourglass button modifier,well imma write it later.
The amount of chaos you can create with Zero Artisan. Reduces the cooldown of all the other robots. Since the zero cooldown is shorter than the robot cooldown.
Just a tip, there is a page 2 with more hosts and tempos. The bottom-left of your UI is actually the settings for your run. This game has a bunch of cool content, especially if you buy the DLC expansion which adds a bunch of tempos you can unlock, a new host to unlock, and some modifiers. For some tips for the bosses: Equinox's illumina blast attack makes him temporarily do 3x damage; Ronin's parry will be infinite if it keeps getting attacked; Resident Mind Phase 1 acfually has alot of counters, the first attack which are the orbs can be dodged if you are in a certain corner or wall, his lasers can be parried, the first pillars attack can be dodged by simply moving forward or in a circle, and the signature move can be parried or dodged easily with a tempo; "You" (Resident Mind Phase 2) actually gets more HP if you're on an easier difficulty; and Resident Mind Phase 3's attacks can mostly be blocked and reflected back onto him. (Makes it really funny to see him just get obliterated his own attacks LOL.) Edit: And yes, some of the hosts need very specific requirements to unlock. (Especially Buffoon.) If you don't wanna get spoiled on the wiki, you can always just do a livestream where you play the game live as viewers guide you.

Ah yes, HOURS. Before I explain. here's the lingo. The big bad is commonly referred to as the dawn. The characters you play as are Hosts. The spacebat abilties are called tempos. BOSS 1 - Equinox, Eternal Guardian of the Dusk. Lifesteal (PASSIVE) - Every time Equinox hits you, he gets some health back. Equinox is a simple, alternative to the final boss. Equinox is the dusk. He works together with the big bad, as they gave him the strength he has now, that being the light side of his body. Dash - Equinox's dash attack is relatively simple to avoid. First off, I should not that the attack's hitbox is centered SOLELY in the swords. If you can manage to move towards the middle where equinox is, it won't hit you. Flip Swing - This move has quite the windup, as he will literally do a handspring towards you before he swings. Pretty easy to avoid, just move to the side. Also easy to block with Artisan, the timing is very consistent and slow. Up swing - Not a lot of windup, but easy to see. Equinox moves his hands down towards his hips, then swings up. Also easy to block with Artisan, consistent timing and slow attack. LIGHT BEAM - This attack only happens once Equinox hits a certain HP. Around 2/3, I think. It lowers your defense, and thus you take more damage and he gets more health back from hitting you. SHADOW CYCLONE - This attack only happens once Equinox hits a certain HP. Around 1/3, I think. It lasts a few seconds, maybe 5. Standing inside the cyclone will heal Equinox Exponentially, but it is easy to avoid. Once Equinox begins to walk towards the center of the arena, that is your signal. BOSS 2 - Bloxxerman, Builder of the Realm. Shield (PASSIVE) - When Bloxxerman gets below 2/3 HP, he gains a shield every time be teleports. CLONES (PASSIVE) - When Bloxxerman gets below 2/3 HP, every time he teleports he spawns clones that use one attack and then disappear. You can hit them to stop them from attacking. Bloxxerman is widely accepted as the creator of the levels. He works together with the big bad, not because he's evil, but because he wishes to protect his creations. Burst - Bloxxerman crosses his arms, firing a short burst of nails. Easy to avoid. Automatic - Bloxxerman holds his arms out, firing a rapid stream of nails for 2-3 seconds. Easy to avoid, hard to get out of if hit. Avoid at all costs. Rain - Bloxxerman falls to his knees, raising his hands to the air. A rain of nails falls from the sky. Pretty low damage, pretty easy to avoid. Most of the time you won't even take that much damage inside it, he barely hits you. Bloxxer Barrier - Once Bloxxerman hits 1hp the first time, he spawns a bunch of strings and jumps into the middle, causing a shockwave. He also gains a shield, proportioned to 1/5 of his normal HP. If you don't kill him in time, he will rapidly fire nails from all these strings. This normally kills you, if you don't have a timestop tempo. BOSS 3 - Ronin Alpha, The First Drifter Deflect (PASSIVE) - Ronin has the chance to deflect any attack, melee or ranged. If it is a barrage or rapid-fire attack and he parries the first hit, he will parry the whole attack, as seen in the video with the turret. Ronin Alpha is... well, the first drifter. In HOURS, the drifter is an unlockable class. However, it is also an organization. An organization of well-trained swordsmen, all fighting against the big bad. Ronin Alpha tried to fight them, but failed. And thus, he was forced to help him. Think of him like Jetstream Sam, from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Throw - Ronin throws his katana outwards, pulling it up next to hit head before he does so. Relatively fast, but a small hitbox. Whirlwind - Ronin Throws his sword sideways, and it orbits around him twice. He moves his hand to his left shoulder first, then outwards. Kind of slow, easy to react to. Twisting Blade - Ronin jumps at you 3 times, swinging his blade at you all 3. No windup, but pretty slow movement. Relatively easy to react to. And finally, the big bad. FINAL BOSS The Final boss is... perfect. The Ultimate being, you could say. A thief of the world's hopes and dreams, and thus a prisoner punished by fate. PHASE 1 - Light orbs. A bunch of tiny orbs fly towards the center from the outside. There is a cheese spot on the wall you can use to almost never get hit, it's the light spot right in front of you in the video. PHASE 2 - Tracking beams. They will try to track your next location, and it seems to have worked. Don't just move, watch where the beam moves first. PHASE 3 - Twirl Beam. Very easy to avoid, just go to a wall before phase 2 ends. Phase 4 - Light pillars. It throws 2 light orbs at you, then pillars form around you. With most hosts, you can just spin in a circle in one spot and not get hit. Phase 5 - Lasers. Lasers are fired from the roof, but you can see the before they initiate. Pretty easy to avoid, just walk around the map really. Phase 6 - THE PIANO. Once you finish phase 5, you will immediately be target by more light pillars. You will see them on the ground before phase 5 ends, avoid them or even get close to the outside ring. Being near the middle of any of the pillars will guarantee massive damage, as it slams the title screen piano on your head. Phase 7 - Cheap Imitation. They will copy your host, and your upgrades. Using them to fight against you. Really, the difficulty of this phase depends on the host you use. It does not however, copy your tempo, so use that info however you like. THE FIGHT RESIDENT MIND - ALL THE WORLD'S PRAYERS His true form, the thief of hopes and dreams. Punch - The Resident mind will float into the air, then dash towards you and try to hit you. Pretty easy to spot and avoid. Tri-Beam - The Resident Mind fires 1 beam, then 3 appear, following you. He cannot use other attacks during this, so literally just keep walking away until it ends. Tracking orb - The Resident Mind summons a huge light orb, then throws it. It will continuously track you and bounce around 6-7 times before disappearing. Hard to avoid, easy to spot. Hate this move. Fracture - A bunch of light orbs go outwards from The Resident Mind, splitting into more as they hit the wall the first time. Easy to spot, may be hard to avoid your first few times. Tracking Laser - The Resident Mind points at you, then starts firing a laser that will follow you. Like the Tri-laser, you can walk to the side, or you can block the whole thing with Artisan's shield, your choice. And that's it, that's HOURS. Yes yes, thank you. Nobody's going to read this, I know. Yes, I got bored. Yes, it took me 30 minutes to write. Yes, I regret writing it. No, he's not going to see this. I know. Shush.
Equinox isn't a simple lifesteal. Illumina (the white sword) inflicts Glowing, increasing damage received by 25% for a few seconds (this is an identical effect to that of Illumina Slam, just shorter duration and weaker, the slam Glowing increases damage received by 100% and lasts 10 seconds), and Darkheart (the black sword) does lifesteal (identical to Darkheart Tornado, but heals 100% of damage inflicted rather than 200%). The sword you get hit by matters.
A little tip: If you get kinetic reversal upgrade for artisan, you can reflect and block projectiles except for light beneath closed eyes phase one (bullet hell)
I can get you a tip for one character, it’s prophet(blue guy, I don’t actually remember names so I could be wrong) and use timestop for 2 seconds, come close to an enemy then timestop-M2 skill, it’s a charging attack on 90 dmg without upgrades, he also has regen ability

Hello and I'm a HOURS expert and I see that your enjoying this game. I'll give you some tips and tricks. Tips: ‐------------- Hosts: To get the next page you need to press i! There are other hosts. Let's start with the easy stuff. To get Equinox you need Artisan. You need another summon and you need to give it to Equinox when he is doing his black tornado 🌪 To get Hot Rash you have to click the left buttom corner. Tempos: -------------- To get jump you can use any host, but you can not chose a upgrade. Ability " jumping " To get Hint (My favorite) Use Hot Rash if you have it and maybe have time stop (not Star) You need to be at the last level! Dodge all the attacks. Except for the very last one! Stay still and take the dmg then Time stop. With Hot Rash you need to Block the Piano. Then you get it. Tricks: --------------- Invader ( Clock-strings ) When Equinox is using the "Dash" you can conter it by using your Dash. When low on health and using the first tempo ( don't remember the name ) Use the Tempo ability and press "Q". It heals you and increases dmg. Prophet: Use "Star" At the same time click M2 ( Heavy strike ) and the Tempo to get a better hit with Heavy Strike! Oh yeah and this is a way of getting Drifter but you need a passive that each time you hit a enemy with Heavy Strike you get shields ( basically extra health ). You can NOT get hit! Witness ( Rain-Over-Dawn ) Use the first Tempo and have the Rocket Launcher Ability. Great for High Dmg! ( Use them together) You can beat the last level much easier! Artisan (Myth-A-Weave) He is extremely weak ( the health) but when it comes to dmg use Zero. It tells you how to get. Instead of having one turret tou can have two! Here is some tips I have ( also no spoilers) You can get extra hosts than the ones in the main page when you press the button under the key like thing you get to the second page Btw to unlock one of the hosts you need to use artisan and out turrets and yourself to the tornado to make him fully heal to his max health You can change the difficulty by pressing the symbol like things the hardest difficulty is seconds.
Artisan is a combat enginner having a barrage ranged and a turret and you can create other sentry like cluster and he can auto repair (heal) when low and he can parry which can dmg the enemy if u have a specific upgrade
Artistan mostly rely on his turret upgrades and not melee, parry is viable, But when you unlock zero, or you have unlocked zero, use artistan and zero Artistan + zero, place all your turrets and then use zero, place them all again, so your turrets are doubled Also To unlock equinox I think you must be on hours or harder And be artistan when equinox use the dark storm, place your turrets in the storm and then if he heals to max health, you unlock equinox, exit the menu or beat him
11:18 use the impale upgrade (It’s not a tempo: the stuff that are in the right of the screen) it makes you dash forward with you’re first slash U had it btw on your first to n in the game that you died early on also all of them heal at the same speed it’s just that the invader’s Q ability lets him heal with every slash
yo bro just a tip to be good at hours, If you unlock a Tempo that Resets your Cooldown, it will be good tempo use for Artisan since he relies on Engineering If you beaten some Stages with a Specific Host you have in your Menu, you get the tempo So how do you use it? Simply, For example: You use artisan and spam all the Summon Moves you have, and Activate the tempo,once its activated, all your move cooldowns are resetted and ready to activate your moves again. To make it efficient: you must use all your moves first before Activating the tempo, otherwise you just wasted it since you have to wait 15 seconds for it to be activated again, just use it wisely and defenitely u can beat the game :)👍 Oh and also u should stream so that viewers like me can guide you throughout the gameplay
Here's a quick explanation about the hosts you've gotten so far! Invader: With swift, medium damage attacks, Invader is a master at dodging and keeping itself alive with Empower's lifesteal property. Invader's upgrades usually give useful side effects on hit, or give the player a unique playstyle. Prophet: With slow, high damage attacks and good melee range, Prophet is the best at dealing and tanking a lot of damage. Prophet's upgrades usually add to his tankiness, or give new abilities to make up for certain weakpoints like range or long attack cooldowns. Witness: With decent stats across the board, WItness is a powerful all-rounder with a plethora of abilities that enhance his capabilities further. Witness' upgrades can vary, and can give many different things like powerful melee and ranged abilities, further bulkiness in the form of upgrades to his shield ability, a way to heal, and even invincibility. Artisan: With ranged attacks and summonable allies to aid the player in battle, Artisan is able to block hits with well-timed parries and deal hefty damage with his barrage ability and his summons. Artisan's upgrades usually give him ways to defend himself or his summons, and will generally add bulk rather than strength.
ok, so this is coming from a person who has 100%'ed hours when it comes to unlockables and what not. first off, i'd really recommend using the parry more while playing as artisan, getting general practice with it. it's a really power utility if you plan to use artisan to beat the game with it and/or simply wanna use the other upgrades than the barrage and turret stuff. secondly, if you get the chance, give witness a shot. witness' shield is a really useful thing in most given scenarios, given you get the upgrades for it. immortal mantle or dominus pluviam are strong upgrades for this reason i'm going to mention, which is just beating the game, which is difficult when you consider the final boss and how hard it is to deal with. thirdly, prophet and star are a great combo in general, so i'd advise you give that a shot if witness isn't quite your type, which you've probably heard of from another comment by now probs and last but not least you might wanna consider just at least beating bloxxer with all the hosts so you unlock all the free tempos (the rest are locked behind secrets or the gamepass, won't spoil those), and you will most certainly find good use out of certain tempos depending on what your playstyle may be. - a very odd guy, 4/22/2023, 9:09 PM
no artistan has the fastest passive healing because he has "auto repairs" when hes low, he heals more. but the "empower" for invader just gives lifesteal at base
Use artisan and summon a ton of stuff when equinox does his weird storm thing and make sure to stand in his storm If he reaches full health, you get the boss as a playable character basically
in the last area with the white floating guy , u can actually block some of his attacks like those balls which go from the corner of the room to the middle and u can also block some lasers.

The star tempo would mainly be used as a combo/move escape rather than normal timestop meant to attack. Just letting you know! Also hosts with projectile mains would be great if you use the time acceleration tempo that I forgot the name of
The iris tempo or epitaph in Jojo you can see the npc where going to move or when they will attack in the future of 3 seconds also predicts the projectiles of enemies or allies, heck it will even predict the rain on where it's gonna drop its a pretty cool detail
tips on how to dodge resident minds initial attacks: stage 1. when you first enter the room, you need to go a little left and forward into the little light pane thingy, and that will cheese the stage stage 2. you don't stage 3. sit in a corner stage 4. try to spin in a circle, misguiding the pillars to target elsewhere stage 5. go to the opposite corner and just keep moving, if you did this stage correctly the pillars of light and/or the piano won't hit you and you'll be relatively unharmed by the lasers
7:36 ronin alpha blocks on charges. If he misses a block he has to recharge it, he has 3 total. If he hits a block it doesn’t deplete. Melee attacks + time stop really do good as he just blocks projectiles when time stop finishes.
9:25 the columns that pop up after he throws those energy at you, can be avoided by walking straight [with fast host] or walking in circles. The columns try to predict your movement. And will aim ahead so walking in a circle confuses it.
9:58 after he finishes the projectile spam. He summons a ring of columns around you, then he hits you with a piano. This does devastating damage and should be avoided at all costs. You can avoid it by using a time stop or escaping after a column goes off.
Fact: If you use Clone ability one of them allowed you to have a clone that follows your move allowing you to do both placing turret and shoot making triple the damage
I'd recomend you to beat the game with witness, SINCE his/her abilites have low cooldown so, you can spam abilites and one thing, he/she can summon a sheild, it has 25 health and it will automatically blocking ANYTHING (Exept fallen dread's attack).
Here’s a tip Artsan can summon different units not just a turret also you can unlock the first boss using Artsan by getting something you can summon and at the black tornado summon them both until he gets to full health, that’s how I got the boss character.
I think u should try out star prophet Cause everytime you use your tempo you have a chance of doing your heavy strike which does 100 damage without any buffs.
Btw tips on dreamer on frist phase just go to an cones and than dodge attack but u have to move on 4 5 attack and tip for 6 the stun one u die use some speed item and remember the song to know when that attack I comeing phase2:anything just don’t die phase 3 dreamer fight: when u see white line from stammer that mean the attack comeing
To get EQUINOX when he uses his black tornado use cluster sentry and a tempo what reloads your abilitys and summon your turret and cluster sentry again

if u wanna play this again tip for the final fight u can block all the attacks cuz they heal u by 10 health and if u get a choice of reflecting range attacks choose that its good for builder man and final fight cuz the final boss has 3 phases and u died on the 1st one and u fight urself at 2nd and u fight him on 3rd phase and if he throw a ball at u just parry it with the reflect blocking cuz it will reflect back to him dealing a bunch of dmg
Here is a fun character (hosts) to use Parting: basically a jojo character on steroids. He is very fun with deadly combos and awesome perks. He can summon his stand (crazy lover) and changes his whole moveset but he can only use one. But you need combo from hurting more enemies and the more combo you do the more damage and health crazy lover gives you. To unlock him you need to beat the game with a tempo called pages also you needs to be on normal mode (hours)
You can play as the bosses you have killed (except the white glowy one that ones gamepass only.). How to obtain equinox: Refill his health to max. (best way is to use artisan with tempo ability that resets your cooldowns. and place as many turrets, robots idk even yourself in that spinny black tornado until you refill his health. How to obtain bloxxerman: Go through every single laser like thing when he is about to die, like in his last phase. best way is using invader. How to obtain drifter: Take no damage during the entire gameplay (Use prophet and choose overflowing vitality, it helps the best. and make sure to get lotta shields.) How to get hellion: Use hot rash and his hot kalash ability with time stop ability and kill hellion when he is in his car that is invulnerable but you can walk through it.) How to get hot rash: there's a secret button somewhere near your left and right bottom screen corners.
There’s an ai multiplayer mode which give you 3 random ai with random hosts everytime you play BUT there’s will be more enemies and enemies will spawn during when a boss spawns and the enemies that spawn when bosses spawn are hosts so be careful with multiplayer Btw at the last boss is actually just a survival stage at first but after he smashes the piano on you, you will be fighting yourself and also the other you also have your upgrades and then after that beat him and then go to the doorway and then go to the pink button
You should try using Prophet and Star bc when u time stop and use Heavy strike u can do 100 damage and u can shred the hp of anybody and you can dodge a lot. Just dont get me started with Follow up. THE TECH IT HAS CAN DRIVE ME INSANE

Btw ronin has three parries and if you keep attacking after using one he won’t run out until you stop attacking so just use single hit attacks to waste his parries then attack he also can’t parry while already attacking
Guide for the intro attack of the final battle (yes u died at the intro) 1 orbs: If u walk strait as soon as u spawn and stand against the light, the orbs cant hit u but BARELY 2 Laser: Try to walk away from the path of the laser 3 Laser spin: Always after the laser attack, has a small charge up. go to the outside corners 4 homing beams: Start in the corner and walk straight to the corner farthest away, this wil give u only a few to 0 hits 5 Trap lines/lasers: stay out of the lines, thats it 6 instantly when the 5th attack ends u want to stay just a little inside the circle of beams so u dont get stunned and after that walk outside to dodge the paino: Now the real fight starts: 1 U get a high HP exact clone, with the same moves and same upgrades the only thing helping u here is ur Tempo (time ability) 2 Resident mind: the very last enemy, high dmg, low HP. he will dodge attacks unless channeling one, try dodging most of his attacks and when he is close timestop or wait until he attacks and damage him. This game has a bunch of cool content, especially if you buy the DLC expansion which adds a bunch of tempos you can unlock, a new host to unlock, and some modifiers. For some tips for the bosses: Equinox's illumina blast attack makes him temporarily do 3x damage; Ronin's parry will be infinite if it keeps getting attacked; Resident Mind Phase 1 acfually has alot of counters, the first attack which are the orbs can be dodged if you are in a certain corner or wall, his lasers can be parried, the first pillars attack can be dodged by simply moving forward or in a circle, and the signature move can be parried or dodged easily with a tempo; "You" (Resident Mind Phase 2) actually gets more HP if you're on an easier difficulty; and Resident Mind Phase 3's attacks can mostly be blocked and reflected back onto him. (Makes it really funny to see him just get obliterated his own attacks LOL.)
Edit: And yes, some of the hosts need very specific requirements to unlock. (Especially Buffoon.) If you don't wanna get spoiled on the wiki, you can always just do a livestream where you play the game live as viewers guide you.

Ah yes, HOURS.
Before I explain. here's the lingo.
The big bad is commonly referred to as the dawn.
The characters you play as are Hosts.
The spacebat abilties are called tempos.
BOSS 1 - Equinox, Eternal Guardian of the Dusk.
Lifesteal (PASSIVE) - Every time Equinox hits you, he gets some health back.
Equinox is a simple, alternative to the final boss. Equinox is the dusk. He works together with the big bad, as they gave him the strength he has now, that being the light side of his body.
Dash - Equinox's dash attack is relatively simple to avoid. First off, I should not that the attack's hitbox is centered SOLELY in the swords. If you can manage to move towards the middle where equinox is, it won't hit you.
Flip Swing - This move has quite the windup, as he will literally do a handspring towards you before he swings. Pretty easy to avoid, just move to the side. Also easy to block with Artisan, the timing is very consistent and slow.
Up swing - Not a lot of windup, but easy to see. Equinox moves his hands down
towards his hips, then swings up. Also easy to block with Artisan, consistent timing and slow attack.
LIGHT BEAM - This attack only happens once Equinox hits a certain HP. Around 2/3, I think. It lowers your defense, and thus you take more damage and he gets more health back from hitting you.
SHADOW CYCLONE - This attack only happens once Equinox hits a certain HP. Around 1/3, I think. It lasts a few seconds, maybe 5. Standing inside the cyclone will heal Equinox Exponentially, but it is easy to avoid. Once Equinox begins to walk towards the center of the arena, that is your signal.
BOSS 2 - Bloxxerman, Builder of the Realm.
Shield (PASSIVE) - When Bloxxerman gets below 2/3 HP, he gains a shield every time be teleports.
CLONES (PASSIVE) - When Bloxxerman gets below 2/3 HP, every time he teleports he spawns clones that use one attack and then disappear. You can hit them to stop them from attacking.
Bloxxerman is widely accepted as the creator of the levels. He works together with the big bad, not because he's evil, but because he wishes to protect his creations.
Burst - Bloxxerman crosses his arms, firing a short burst of nails. Easy to avoid.
Automatic - Bloxxerman holds his arms out, firing a rapid stream of nails for 2-3 seconds. Easy to avoid, hard to get out of if hit. Avoid at all costs.
Rain - Bloxxerman falls to his knees, raising his hands to the air. A rain of nails falls from the sky. Pretty low damage, pretty easy to avoid. Most of the time you won't even take that much damage inside it, he barely hits you.
Bloxxer Barrier - Once Bloxxerman hits 1hp the first time, he spawns a bunch of strings and jumps into the middle, causing a shockwave. He also gains a shield, proportioned to 1/5 of his normal HP. If you don't kill him in time, he will rapidly fire nails from all these strings. This normally kills you, if you don't have a timestop tempo.
BOSS 3 - Ronin Alpha, The First Drifter
Deflect (PASSIVE) - Ronin has the chance to deflect any attack, melee or ranged. If it is a barrage or rapid-fire attack and he parries the first hit, he will parry the whole attack, as seen in the video with the turret.
Ronin Alpha is... well, the first drifter. In HOURS, the drifter is an unlockable class. However, it is also an organization. An organization of well-trained swordsmen, all fighting against the big bad. Ronin Alpha tried to fight them, but failed. And thus, he was forced to help him. Think of him like Jetstream Sam, from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Throw - Ronin throws his katana outwards, pulling it up next to hit head before he does so. Relatively fast, but a small hitbox.
Whirlwind - Ronin Throws his sword sideways, and it orbits around him twice. He moves his hand to his left shoulder first, then outwards. Kind of slow, easy to react to.
Twisting Blade - Ronin jumps at you 3 times, swinging his blade at you all 3. No windup, but pretty slow movement. Relatively easy to react to.
And finally, the big bad.
FINAL BOSS
The Final boss is... perfect. The Ultimate being, you could say. A thief of the world's hopes and dreams, and thus a prisoner punished by fate.
PHASE 1 - Light orbs. A bunch of tiny orbs fly towards the center from the outside. There is a cheese spot on the wall you can use to almost never get hit, it's the light spot right in front of you in the video.
PHASE 2 - Tracking beams. They will try to track your next location, and it seems to have worked. Don't just move, watch where the beam moves first.
PHASE 3 - Twirl Beam. Very easy to avoid, just go to a wall before phase 2 ends.
Phase 4 - Light pillars. It throws 2 light orbs at you, then pillars form around you. With most hosts, you can just spin in a circle in one spot and not get hit.
Phase 5 - Lasers. Lasers are fired from the roof, but you can see the before they initiate. Pretty easy to avoid, just walk around the map really.
Phase 6 - THE PIANO. Once you finish phase 5, you will immediately be target by more light pillars. You will see them on the ground before phase 5 ends, avoid them or even get close to the outside ring. Being near the middle of any of the pillars will guarantee massive damage, as it slams the title screen piano on your head.
Phase 7 - Cheap Imitation. They will copy your host, and your upgrades. Using them to fight against you. Really, the difficulty of this phase depends on the host you use. It does not however, copy your tempo, so use that info however you like.
THE FIGHT
RESIDENT MIND - ALL THE WORLD'S PRAYERS
His true form, the thief of hopes and dreams.
Punch - The Resident mind will float into the air, then dash towards you and try to hit you. Pretty easy to spot and avoid.
Tri-Beam - The Resident Mind fires 1 beam, then 3 appear, following you. He cannot use other attacks during this, so literally just keep walking away until it ends.
Tracking orb - The Resident Mind summons a huge light orb, then throws it. It will continuously track you and bounce around 6-7 times before disappearing. Hard to avoid, easy to spot. Hate this move.
Fracture - A bunch of light orbs go outwards from The Resident Mind, splitting into more as they hit the wall the first time. Easy to spot, may be hard to avoid your first few times.
Tracking Laser - The Resident Mind points at you, then starts firing a laser that will follow you. Like the Tri-laser, you can walk to the side, or you can block the whole thing with Artisan's shield, your choice.
And that's it, that's HOURS. Yes yes, thank you. Nobody's going to read this, I know. Yes, I got bored. Yes, it took me 30 minutes to write. Yes, I regret writing it. No, he's not going to see this. I know. Shush.
Equinox isn't a simple lifesteal. Illumina (the white sword) inflicts Glowing, increasing damage received by 25% for a few seconds (this is an identical effect to that of Illumina Slam, just shorter duration and weaker, the slam Glowing increases damage received by 100% and lasts 10 seconds), and Darkheart (the black sword) does lifesteal (identical to Darkheart Tornado, but heals 100% of damage inflicted rather than 200%). The sword you get hit by matters.

A little tip:
If you get kinetic reversal upgrade for artisan, you can reflect and block projectiles except for light beneath closed eyes phase one (bullet hell)
I can get you a tip for one character, it’s prophet(blue guy, I don’t actually remember names so I could be wrong) and use timestop for 2 seconds, come close to an enemy then timestop-M2 skill, it’s a charging attack on 90 dmg without upgrades, he also has regen ability

There are other hosts. Let's start with the easy stuff. To get Equinox you need Artisan. You need another summon and you need to give it to Equinox when he is doing his black tornado 🌪
To get Hot Rash you have to click the left buttom corner.
Tempos:

To get jump you can use any host, but you can not chose a upgrade. Ability " jumping "
To get Hint (My favorite) Use Hot Rash if you have it and maybe have time stop (not Star) You need to be at the last level! Dodge all the attacks. Except for the very last one! Stay still and take the dmg then Time stop. With Hot Rash you need to Block the Piano. Then you get it.
Tricks:

Invader ( Clock-strings )
When Equinox is using the "Dash" you can conter it by using your Dash. When low on health and using the first tempo ( don't remember the name ) Use the Tempo ability and press "Q". It heals you and increases dmg.
Prophet:
Use "Star"
At the same time click M2 ( Heavy strike ) and the Tempo to get a better hit with Heavy Strike! Oh yeah and this is a way of getting Drifter but you need a passive that each time you hit a enemy with Heavy Strike you get shields ( basically extra health ). You can NOT get hit!
Witness ( Rain-Over-Dawn )
Use the first Tempo and have the Rocket Launcher Ability. Great for High Dmg! ( Use them together) You can beat the last level much easier!
Artisan (Myth-A-Weave)
He is extremely weak ( the health) but when it comes to dmg use Zero. It tells you how to get. Instead of having one turret tou can have two! ( ability: resets the cooldowns! ) If you have the hands of time (HoT gamepass) then it's even better. HoT cost Robux :(

Here is some tips I have ( also no spoilers)
You can get extra hosts than the ones in the main page when you press the button under the key like thing you get to the second page
Btw to unlock one of the hosts you need to use artisan and out turrets and yourself to the tornado to make him fully heal to his max health
You can change the difficulty by pressing the symbol like things the hardest difficulty is seconds.
Artisan is a combat enginner having a barrage ranged and a turret and you can create other sentry like cluster and he can auto repair (heal) when low and he can parry which can dmg the enemy if u have a specific upgrade
Artistan mostly rely on his turret upgrades and not melee, parry is viable,
But when you unlock zero, or you have unlocked zero, use artistan and zero
Artistan + zero, place all your turrets and then use zero, place them all again, so your turrets are doubled
Also
To unlock equinox
I think you must be on hours or harder
And be artistan when equinox use the dark storm, place your turrets in the storm and then if he heals to max health, you unlock equinox, exit the menu or beat him
To unlock equinox you mustn’t beat him, when he heals just go back to menu, i tried beating him and it didnt unlock
11:18 use the impale upgrade (It’s not a tempo: the stuff that are in the right of the screen) it makes you dash forward with you’re first slash
U had it btw on your first to n in the game that you died early on also all of them heal at the same speed it’s just that the invader’s Q ability lets him heal with every slash
yo bro just a tip to be good at hours,
If you unlock a Tempo that Resets your Cooldown, it will be good tempo use for Artisan since he relies on Engineering
If you beaten some Stages with a Specific Host you have in your Menu, you get the tempo
So how do you use it? Simply, For example:
You use artisan and spam all the Summon Moves you have, and Activate the tempo,once its activated, all your move cooldowns are resetted and ready to activate your moves again.
To make it efficient: you must use all your moves first before Activating the tempo, otherwise you just wasted it since you have to wait 15 seconds for it to be activated again, just use it wisely and defenitely u can beat the game :)👍
Oh and also u should stream so that viewers like me can guide you throughout the gameplay
Here's a quick explanation about the hosts you've gotten so far!
Invader: With swift, medium damage attacks, Invader is a master at dodging and keeping itself alive with Empower's lifesteal property. Invader's upgrades usually give useful side effects on hit, or give the player a unique playstyle.
Prophet: With slow, high damage attacks and good melee range, Prophet is the best at dealing and tanking a lot of damage. Prophet's upgrades usually add to his tankiness, or give new abilities to make up for certain weakpoints like range or long attack cooldowns.
Witness: With decent stats across the board, WItness is a powerful all-rounder with a plethora of abilities that enhance his capabilities further. Witness' upgrades can vary, and can give many different things like powerful melee and ranged abilities, further bulkiness in the form of upgrades to his shield ability, a way to heal, and even invincibility.
Artisan: With ranged attacks and summonable allies to aid the player in battle, Artisan is able to block hits with well-timed parries and deal hefty damage with his barrage ability and his summons. Artisan's upgrades usually give him ways to defend himself or his summons, and will generally add bulk rather than strength.
ok, so this is coming from a person who has 100%'ed hours when it comes to unlockables and what not.
first off, i'd really recommend using the parry more while playing as artisan, getting general practice with it. it's a really power utility if you plan to use artisan to beat the game with it and/or simply wanna use the other upgrades than the barrage and turret stuff.
secondly, if you get the chance, give witness a shot. witness' shield is a really useful thing in most given scenarios, given you get the upgrades for it. immortal mantle or dominus pluviam are strong upgrades for this reason i'm going to mention, which is just beating the game, which is difficult when you consider the final boss and how hard it is to deal with.
thirdly, prophet and star are a great combo in general, so i'd advise you give that a shot if witness isn't quite your type, which you've probably heard of from another comment by now probs
and last but not least
you might wanna consider just at least beating bloxxer with all the hosts so you unlock all the free tempos (the rest are locked behind secrets or the gamepass, won't spoil those), and you will most certainly find good use out of certain tempos depending on what your playstyle may be.

no artistan has the fastest passive healing because he has "auto repairs" when hes low, he heals more. but the "empower" for invader just gives lifesteal at base
Use artisan and summon a ton of stuff when equinox does his weird storm thing and make sure to stand in his storm
If he reaches full health, you get the boss as a playable character basically
in the last area with the white floating guy , u can actually block some of his attacks like those balls which go from the corner of the room to the middle and u can also block some lasers.

Game suggestion: MOURS and TIMELINES (timelines is currently in alpha or pre alpha and not the star wars game, scroll until you see a clock with a bunch of lines above it.)
The star tempo would mainly be used as a combo/move escape rather than normal timestop meant to attack. Just letting you know! Also hosts with projectile mains would be great if you use the time acceleration tempo that I forgot the name of
The iris tempo or epitaph in Jojo you can see the npc where going to move or when they will attack in the future of 3 seconds also predicts the projectiles of enemies or allies, heck it will even predict the rain on where it's gonna drop its a pretty cool detail

the fact that he thought the build-up was actually the battle is hilarious
tips on how to dodge resident minds initial attacks:
stage 1. when you first enter the room, you need to go a little left and forward into the little light pane thingy, and that will cheese the stage
stage 2. you don't
stage 3. sit in a corner
stage 4. try to spin in a circle, misguiding the pillars to target elsewhere
stage 5. go to the opposite corner and just keep moving, if you did this stage correctly the pillars of light and/or the piano won't hit you and you'll be relatively unharmed by the lasers
just say go to a corner for the phase 1
for the laser go forward and backwards sometimes the laser hits you
As an hours veteran its really funny watching someone struggle with a game you know better than the back of your hand😂 also very paiful.

Tip: Resident minds attacks will follow summons if they are closer to them.
7:36 ronin alpha blocks on charges. If he misses a block he has to recharge it, he has 3 total. If he hits a block it doesn’t deplete. Melee attacks + time stop really do good as he just blocks projectiles when time stop finishes.
And of corse he can’t block while he’s attacking. Use those times to fire at him with a gun or use a melee attack
9:25 the columns that pop up after he throws those energy at you, can be avoided by walking straight [with fast host] or walking in circles. The columns try to predict your movement. And will aim ahead so walking in a circle confuses it.
9:58 after he finishes the projectile spam. He summons a ring of columns around you, then he hits you with a piano. This does devastating damage and should be avoided at all costs. You can avoid it by using a time stop or escaping after a column goes off.

Fact: If you use Clone ability one of them allowed you to have a clone that follows your move allowing you to do both placing turret and shoot making triple the damage

artisans block helps ALOT against the nails so make sure to use it
btw the boss you died to at 9:55 is the game's final boss(doesnt mean there aren't other things to unlock after beating him)
I'd recomend you to beat the game with witness, SINCE his/her abilites have low cooldown so, you can spam abilites and one thing, he/she can summon a sheild, it has 25 health and it will automatically blocking ANYTHING (Exept fallen dread's attack).
Here’s a tip Artsan can summon different units not just a turret also you can unlock the first boss using Artsan by getting something you can summon and at the black tornado summon them both until he gets to full health, that’s how I got the boss character.

Btw tips on dreamer on frist phase just go to an cones and than dodge attack but u have to move on 4 5 attack and tip for 6 the stun one u die use some speed item and remember the song to know when that attack I comeing phase2:anything just don’t die phase 3 dreamer fight: when u see white line from stammer that mean the attack comeing
Just a hint, Artisan heals less than the first guy because lifesteal is one of the first guys main abilities, not all characters do that

if u wanna play this again tip for the final fight u can block all the attacks cuz they heal u by 10 health and if u get a choice of reflecting range attacks choose that its good for builder man and final fight cuz the final boss has 3 phases and u died on the 1st one and u fight urself at 2nd and u fight him on 3rd phase and if he throw a ball at u just parry it with the reflect blocking cuz it will reflect back to him dealing a bunch of dmg
Here is a fun character (hosts) to use
Parting: basically a jojo character on steroids. He is very fun with deadly combos and awesome perks. He can summon his stand (crazy lover) and changes his whole moveset but he can only use one. But you need combo from hurting more enemies and the more combo you do the more damage and health crazy lover gives you. To unlock him you need to beat the game with a tempo called pages also you needs to be on normal mode (hours)

How to obtain equinox: Refill his health to max. (best way is to use artisan with tempo ability that resets your cooldowns. and place as many turrets, robots idk even yourself in that spinny black tornado until you refill his health.
How to obtain bloxxerman: Go through every single laser like thing when he is about to die, like in his last phase. best way is using invader.
How to obtain drifter: Take no damage during the entire gameplay (Use prophet and choose overflowing vitality, it helps the best. and make sure to get lotta shields.)
How to get hellion: Use hot rash and his hot kalash ability with time stop ability and kill hellion when he is in his car that is invulnerable but you can walk through it.)
How to get hot rash: there's a secret button somewhere near your left and right bottom screen corners.
If you have kinetic reversal in artisan then u can literally reflect bloxxermans darts when blocking which is pretty useful
fun fact: most of the enemies in the second stage are direct references to old roblox
pro tip: go to the corners BEFORE equinox's dark attack and try not to have any turrets active within it's radius
There’s an ai multiplayer mode which give you 3 random ai with random hosts everytime you play BUT there’s will be more enemies and enemies will spawn during when a boss spawns and the enemies that spawn when bosses spawn are hosts so be careful with multiplayer
Btw at the last boss is actually just a survival stage at first but after he smashes the piano on you, you will be fighting yourself and also the other you also have your upgrades and then after that beat him and then go to the doorway and then go to the pink button

You should try using Prophet and Star bc when u time stop and use Heavy strike u can do 100 damage and u can shred the hp of anybody and you can dodge a lot. Just dont get me started with Follow up. THE TECH IT HAS CAN DRIVE ME INSANE

Btw ronin has three parries and if you keep attacking after using one he won’t run out until you stop attacking so just use single hit attacks to waste his parries then attack he also can’t parry while already attacking
I actually beat the epilogue a few times, I mostly used the red one, it makes it a bit easier

Ronin alpha actually can deflect a laser beam, so deflecting bullets doesn't seem to bad.
Guide for the intro attack of the final battle (yes u died at the intro)
1 orbs: If u walk strait as soon as u spawn and stand against the light, the orbs cant hit u but BARELY
2 Laser: Try to walk away from the path of the laser
3 Laser spin: Always after the laser attack, has a small charge up. go to the outside corners
4 homing beams: Start in the corner and walk straight to the corner farthest away, this wil give u only a few to 0 hits
5 Trap lines/lasers: stay out of the lines, thats it
6 instantly when the 5th attack ends u want to stay just a little inside the circle of beams so u dont get stunned and after that walk outside to dodge the paino:
Now the real fight starts:
1 U get a high HP exact clone, with the same moves and same upgrades the only thing helping u here is ur Tempo (time ability)
2 Resident mind: the very last enemy, high dmg, low HP. he will dodge attacks unless channeling one, try dodging most of his attacks and when he is close timestop or wait until he attacks and damage him.

btw you can dodge every boss attack in atleast the dodging section its very difficult but its possible
The guy in the final fight has two forms the 1st one coying you and the 2end one doges EVRY THING unless your in time stop or any other abilities or if you stun him and juat spam perry for when the fight starts yull perry all the orbs the beams almost all pf it
when you pressed Q with the green guy it turned on lifesteal thats why it feels like artisan heals slower
The artisan doesn't heal faster, it's just that the invader has lifeseal
Hours is such a dead and underrated game, getting drifter was like a reward well earned, especially with the parry.

here's a tip: I recommend getting equinox first so to equip it press the last mark thingy at the bottom left, if you want to get out out of the side just press it again.
here's how to get equinox: equip artisan and zero then fight equinox until he does the black tornado,after,use all of your spawns and use zero then repeat, after he gets to full health, it
