Scallops are really abundant in isla gigantes. It cost just 1peso a piece. What I like about your videos is that your interacting with the locals especially with the kids. Your not the type that will give them a "stop bugging me and im busy attitude". 😁😁😁 Anyways, keep that up!!!👍👍👍
I love my country, The Philippines but I appreciate and love my country more after I moved to the US. I appreciate how happy people we are even just on simple things. How laid back we are. How appreciative we are. How genuinely friendly we are. I realize all that until I moved here in the US. Just totally different culture even if we were colonized by Americans before.
Believe even me a filipino couldn't explore my own country and how amazing my country is thru your videos. I would say you are the lucky ones among the foreigner that explored our amazing country. Maybe it is better to keep the Philippines a secret for you to enjoy without being exploited and make it a back packers paradise. I like to follow other vloggers that explore our country because that is the only way I can appreciate the beauty of my country. Maybe when I retire here in America I can find an untamed places there that I can spend my senile life !
Dude congrats I'm glad your channel is finally getting the recognition it deserves. You have basically doubled subs in less then a month it seems. I remember not too long ago you were at 350
Carrying things of the visitors like u is a filipino way of showing care and friendship to u. i used to do that everytime my german friends come to visit me. it's a way also of welcoming u and make u comfortable in thier midst.
all of your videos are so amazing👌🏻 I’m enjoying watching them so far.. thank you for appreciating Philippines that we Filipinos couldn’t look that way because of poverty☹️🙁 I’m a Filipina working here in hongkong.. You are inspiring me to be more proud of being Filipino that sometimes I’m ashame of. . . keep inspiring us🙂 be safe. .
Your videos are great. I too have been fortunate to have gotten to do much touring with locals, even in Mindanao, of which there are also many beautiful places. Your interaction with the locals is great. If you show some of the places where you can stay, along with the rates and dollar equivalent ,you would help tourism to the Philippines even better. The smaller ,less visited places are the greatest bargain and super hospitable.
This is in my province and I must say, Isla Gigantes is a jewel yet to be polished. The island is beautiful and serene. Thanks @FinnSnow for the feature. Your cinematography is amazing. Mabrook!!!
for filipinos it is really our happiness to seeing New things. these kids are amazed by the fact that it's their first time to have seen a flying thing smaller than a plane and it's the drone hovering around. I, as filipino feels happy in a smallest thing I have so as these kids. :-) :-) :-) thanks Finn for this incredible video.
I used to lived to Gigantes Norte for a year way back 2004. I was 5 years old that time. That school mentioned I graduated kindergarten. My mom was born and raised there. Thank you so much Finn for this video made me cry and melt my heart. The place and the people reminds my stay there. I will support your future vlogs cause you deserves it. I missed the place so much. Will visit there probably next yr😊
About that -- What I don't understand about this is why are the attitudes towards foreigners between these countries so different when all of them had been colonized in the past? How come that the outcome is so different when all of us had similar pasts? Why is this country more welcoming than the other? Why is this country less welcoming than the other? I find it so weird!
Dream Cardigan my dad studied the area when I was a kid (he's an anthropologist) and we lived in the Philippines for a while. I think the reason is because Pinoys are very open and easily adapt to things. I think it depends on how they are approached but I find Pinoys very welcoming and smile a lot! Unlike other Asian countries, Filipinos are open to foreign influence especially Americans. The culture is a smorgasbord of east and west 😊
It is common for Filipinos to be friendly specially in those time of my grandparent and ancestor. When I was a little boy, I remember that I'm always by my side of my grandmother and whenever we go even in farthest area in our province amazing all of them knew each other. I remember every household that we visit we always have "a gift or pasalubong" they gave up some crop, fruits etc.. I also remember that time they always have a "bayanihan" where everyone come to help.. People before are most friendly, most God Fearing More Caring. I miss that time when the cellphone, tablet, computer are not around and most of the people are always on the field.
So far of all the islands that I had seen on TH-cam, although all are amazing and breathtaking, but for some reasons, I love these Gigantes Islands the most. It must be the friendly and nice people, especially the children, and the simple and happy life that they have.
I like how unorganized your trip was! Notice "un"-organized and not "dis"-organized. I like how candid everything is and the "raw" quality it feels. It's genuine and honest and those qualities make your videos so charming to me.
Because We, filipinos finn we care our guest as a family.. in all parts of the philippines and i think its in our culture because we not let our guest not confortable so thats why..and salamat for sharing your experience with us and i hope more vlogs abwt the philippines finn take care always finn. ;)
I stayed late just watching all ur amazing videos!😂while I'm here in U.A.E.. I like most of ur videos especially where ur in the Philippines. Now I'm jealous of u having fun in our beautiful country. 😁😊 Have fun and God bless u! @Finn Snow
ive watched all your videos. and i feel so happy at the same time quit sad happy because you get to explore the philippines and we filipinos love people like you who enjoys and appreciate our country.. its a bit sad because me as a filipino didnt get to explore my country as much as you do. ill be waiting for you to come back. 😊😊😊
It's a common thing in our culture, specially in the provinces, every household is very welcoming and friendly.we don't ask for anything in return.we always welcome visitors local or foreign.we r just happy to offer whatever we have.its our culture, our heritage, our legacy.🤗🤗🤗
I just accidentally found your channel and it's amazing that's why I subscribe it...good job...I'm from Philippines but I never see all these wonderful place...😂😂

Trivia: When the Spaniards first came to the island, the locals led them to a cave where the skeletal remains of giants were found hence the name Gigantes. (Forgot if it was Norte or Sur). One restaurant there exhibits an artifact from the cave.
Hi Finn! The videos are so beautiful...one suggestion that you can visit too is in the Island of Camiguin...an active volcano is on the island, sunken cemetery..., cold coring, hot spring and White Island...etc...possibly 1 day tour of the entire island...
A new subscriber here!! First time subscribing on you tube... lol Great video!! love how u explore not only the place but also communicate very well with the locals.. a true traveller by heart..😊. Keep up the good work. Stay safe and God bless. More adventures to come your way!!!😃
i dont know but you really remind me of Lucas Till omG! whats wrong with me? 😅 maybe because of your smile? 😏 hehehe anyways! thumbs up to you ☺ keep up the good work, stay safe and Godbless ..
hey finn. since you're in part of panay i would like to recommend the guimaras island. it is the home of the sweetest mangoes. the beaches are stunning like alubijod cove beach resort, reyans beach resort etc. and the island hopping will lead you to caves and turtle island and you can also visit the seafdec where giants grouper is being raised and protected. there is also falls hidden within that island that only the people knows. personally the best asset of guimaras is their mangoes and beaches.
Wow such a beautiful island. The last time i go to beach is 2 years ago at Calatagan Batanggas its so closest to Cavite we're i lived. The water is so salty but there's a big sandbar need to rent boat to take you in the middle of the sea, when its low tide Calatagan beach has too many Starfish the sized of your palm. The water is so cold and so clear but I didnt enjoy much bec the saltiness of the water you cant possibly swim and not gettin a taste of the water hahaha but even dippin in the water without goggles makes your eyes sores probably bec of the saltiness but that just haunch hehe
Filipinos are the best in the whole world. Truly in our blood that we are hospitable, approachable and kind. We really treat our visitors the best accomodation we can.

Your so lucky Finn able to visit that amazing Gigantes Island.sooo beautiful with blue waters.
I traveled around Southeast Asia, but Filipino people is waaaaay more friendly and approachable than Thais, Vietnamese and Cambodians 😔
About that -- What I don't understand about this is why are the attitudes towards foreigners between these countries so different when all of them had been colonized in the past? Majority of filipinos are devote christians...probably its one of the reasons..

beautiful as in gyud...
I love idyllic coastal towns. I could live there.
Trivia: When the Spaniards first came to the island, the locals led them to a cave where the skeletal remains of giants were found hence the name Gigantes. (Forgot if it was Norte or Sur). One restaurant there exhibits an artifact from the cave.
The large wooden coffins were taken from caves in the Gigantes Norte.
We also stayed in that island when we went in Gigantes last 2017. The only means of transpo was via motorbikes and scallops were so cheap.
treat us/Filipinos like family and we'll sure treat you the same :)
Hi Finn! The videos are so beautiful...one suggestion that you can visit too is in the Island of Camiguin...an active volcano is on the island, sunken cemetery..., cold coring, hot spring and White Island...etc...possibly 1 day tour of the entire island...
