I feel like this level might be perfect to show even to someone who doesn't know much about Mario Maker. What do y'all think is the best level to show someone new to troll levels?
SYMPtomps of STUpidity blew my mind the first time I see it. As someone who has never played Mario Maker or even have a Nintendo console. It made me a fan of yours a troll levels. I would go with it
If they’ve played a bit of Mario Maker before, I’d probably show them a KingBling troll level! I feel like KingBling is really good at making the solution to a troll look really simple, but still finding a way to screw you over in some absurd manner.
I love how this level shows you how it's gonna screw you, and gives you just not quite enough time or a little too much to look at or a misleading but still "fair" outcome of a setup like to where you feel like you're just so close to outsmarting it. Troll levels have this problem where they need to keep the player engaged in actively trying to win a rigged game or they just turn into guessing games with contraption cutscenes and I think this one really does a good job of that while also having strong visual design and humor.
but who made it?? He credited all the people who sent messages but merely said "someone made" the lanky mario snake game… that seems like it must have taken a fair amount of work :(
Actually. Like snake was the big brain follow up to the memes. I mean it's so obvious but only one thought it and brought it into this world. Now we must kill it for it is in pain
That ending troll was pretty good, but it would have been so much funnier if a single one of the yellow coins was just outside the range of the POW. I would have loved to see the shock and confusion on Carl's face when he realizes that he is missing a single coin.
@@Malletdude31 Well yeah. I'm saying the troll would have been better if you could drop almost all of them except the red coin. Basically punishing anyone who assumes that you only need to collect the red coin on the way down when you actually also need to collect a non-red coin as well.
A devious way to make the anti even more evil would be to have pipes refreshing the springs if you manage to drop the donut blocks but don't go down the hole in time. It would also just make it harder to get in the hole in general
Wow.... only change I would've made to the level was to make you HAVE to collect the top few coins at the end before moving right to collect the red coin because the POW wave wouldn't be large enough. Great level!

What I love about the name of this troll level is that it'll sound exactly like the title if someone with a lisp said the original line from Shrek: "What are you doing in my Swamp?!"
Only nintendo could make a 2 block gap harder to enter than a 1 tile kaizo trap. With increased engine tweaks, the more pieces rattle apart lol. That ending round was something bizarre to behold though!
11:05 I am consistently escaping the boo dance by holding right when i jump high up and pressing left shortly before the gap. Dumbed my way through this many times, because too dumb to go around that -.-
Missed troll opportunity at the end of the level at 16:36... Pow goes off, all but 1 coin fall down from the shockwave. Solution would be a zig-zag from the top coin over to the red coin.

I think that's the point of the red coin troll. You can drop all of them except the red coin.
