Somebody really should make a level, where picking up the safety coin results in the level not being beatable anymore. Just so Carl learns ( for once).
Make it like 'All the Colors of the Painbow' where you complete the hardest section only to get a hint message, but it says "Shouldn't have gotten the safety coin" if you got the safety coin already.
Make it a 3d world red coin level. Whenever you complete one of the challenges, the level briefly sends you offscreen before you get the checkpoints and return to the central hub. If you already have the key at that point (because you collected the safety coin and completed all the challenges before returning to the hub) you'll find that there was a locked warp box offscreen that takes you to a horrible antisoftlock (edit: or just softlocks you). Therefore, collecting the safety coin early makes the level unbeatable, but you won't know until the end.
I stopped watching Carl in january, but I just suscribed again and started watching every video I didn't watch, and I remembered that the auto key death was something that made me stopped watching. It feels like just for content, and it's a shame because he's my favorite streamer otherwise :C
I like this level a lot. The creator kept the screen clear of clutter - which I find increasingly plagues troll levels - but still devious and inventive.
That final section was incredible. Not only Carl died every possible way, but also he died in ways we didn't even think possible, like going through the red block

That star setup was brilliant. If you do it the way they intended you get two stars and anticipate the third one so you go left to dodge it and get hit with the 3rd one lol.

Carl, you already fought through the infinite star setup. GoSeigen did it to you in Super Seigen's Magnum Bogus. He put you down a hole in a room full of spikes and a pipe that kept shooting out stars. It took you nearly 2 minutes to find the right place to stand to not get bodied by the star since you had to move a couple times before you could stay still. It's still one of the funniest anti-softlocks I've ever seen you get put in.

The note block under the blue pipe is telling the game the pipe is blocked and when the mushroom hits the note block it causes the game to think the block is no longer there and thus allows the piranha plant to come out of the pipe to kill those who jump right after the mushroom hits it.
In Mario Golf, they should rename birdie...
