Two legends : Paul McCartney and Gerry Marsden. I´ll miss you Gerry (St. 24, 1942 - Jan 3, 2021). I had the chance to see you play in a "British Invasion" revival tour in Singapore more than 15 years ago. RIP Gerry Marsden :(
I saw Gerry and his band in Sydney at the Rooty Hill RSL about 10 years ago. I could not believe how good his voice was - sensational really. Best of all he came across as really nice bloke - RIP Gerry

I think it was about 3 weeks ago when I was talking to a friend who was telling me he knew Gerry more as a brilliant boxer as much as a singer way back before he was famous, or any of them for that matter. Last boxing night this friend passed away taking these memories with him. RIP both.

Think about this...If other Artists including Jeff Lynne can form the Traveling Wilburys ,then why cant Paul, Gerry Roger D., Mick and Ringo form say "The Mersey River boys"? and put together an album . with Jeff Lynne as the Producer.
