    You and Magdad did a fantastic job. You might consider highlighting the etchings with Black India Ink, or black paint to help them stand out. I enjoyed your video.
    You might consider contacting Sal Mercogliano at Campbell University where he teaches Maritime History. He has a TH-cam channel covering maritime shipping. He's very familiar with the maritime history of the Pacific during WWII.

    I watched 357magdad video on the handle. He pinned you & that directed me to see this. What he did was inspiring! I’ll never be able to do what he comes out with…perfection. What you did was awesome, especially keeping the island/city names on the blade.
    A fantastic piece of history saved, Kudos to you both.

    Very nice and I saw the nice job 357MagDad did on the handle. Pretty net penmanship in the etching of those islands. I wonder what he used?
