    Ocean (traits)
1 open, like new idears (can get side tracks bcos of that) in stead of routines, traditions
2 concensiousness, how dependable, organising, otherwise like bigger idears and not like details
3 extraversion, you get energy of people, introvert draines energy to be with people
4 agree-ableness, likely to say yes if someone asks you, team player, otherwise they first search info before choose
5 neuroticism, tendency to feel worried, think about all kind of scenario's, anxious, takes longer to feel better, opposite of relax, easy going. When the boss is anxious you need to worry for the boss, I know you worry about this, I done this to take care of it.

I just discovered you recently, Vanessa. After only one of your videos, my life changed. I absolutely love you!! 💜

One of my favs of your videos and like many. But it also made me think about who I am as a leader as a boss along with who buy bosses. I think it's important to know who you are as a boss as well so that you can direct your employees and let them know clearly what your needs are. That way they're actually able to be successful with you. Thanks this is great!

I appreciate your videos because I have high functioning autism, and struggle to decode micro facial expressions, and sometimes tones of voice. I would prefer to work with people who are expressive rather than poker faced. I think that too many neurotypical people overestimate their ability to judge character and that they too could learn from you.

Fascinating topic here, because I see how the ability to spot these traits can be useful in many parts of one's life. How did you guys determine that the scope of workplace relationships included these traits specifically? You did a wonderful job of explaning each term in an intituive way.

Thanks fir your advice, Vanessa! I am reading your book too.. finished first chapter. One doubt- Many experts like you suggesting to have confident pose by having good posture. What if your sick and depressed and your posture becomes negative? How to handle that situation? Sorry for my bad English.

Oh, thank you very much for replying me Vanessa! :) Another doubt, I asked this in one of your video. I have watched all your videos including from other channels. I bought your book too. I only finished reading chapter 1. The question is how do I remember or recall the techniques that I learned from in a situation or a conversation? Because sometimes I forget about that technique and I act like I used to be.

I think consciously remembering is the first step to master anything. But only one step. The next step is internalizing it by practice. Until you don't need to think consciously about it.
To get around memory limitations the simplest technique is to just break it down and learn to master part after part. For example just focus on a good posture for howlong ever it will take. Focus on the next thing after that. No need to first master memory improving techniques. They have their own tremendous value, but you can only do so much at a time, so prioritize.

For me, I do say I will have to think about what hours my job wants me to work, because what they used to do was surprise me when dealing with a customer and ask me right then, and I did used to say yeah, okay, and then realised that I couldn't because of a dentist appointment or my boiler man is coming etc or because I actually need a day off and half the time if I'd have time to think about it, and realise that it was actually OK, I'd go back and say yes because I'm sure it's annoying if someone says yes and then back tracks, saying they never thought it through

I suppose this is about decoding every bullet point about a person's personality but for me because I study the enneagram I'm very quickly able to work out which lower or higher end of the levels of say agreeableness belongs to which personality a lot quicker.

When it was spoken about being detail oriented - well, I'm not, I don't make lists, I go for those three main points - so for me, I don't feel you have completely broken down your bosses personally to a specific type they have because I have a lot of qualities as Vanessa has. I am a three, enneagram type, who is laid back, and details later and will think about it type of person and the reason why is in the comment below. I strongly recommend reading the Eneagram called Personality types and then another, book Personalities in Love and at Work, its a red book which shows both the simular traits personalies share and then what is also different about them that then make them who they are.

I took the big 5 test and got a score of @50 on everything except extraversion (I'm definitely an introvert) ... so am I super balanced or just unpredictable - meaning I could go either way depending on the situation?

Hey Vanessa I have a boss who is a young go getter and I'm also young, 22 to be exact and he's late 20's. anyway he is very strict and all about results. I think he's on the line of liking/not liking me and I'm just wondering how can I really click with him to build more rapport. I've tried in the past and he does have conversations but nothing like big just small talk. anyway my personality is diffently a mild extravert who is very competitive. please help? lol maybe just some advise to help me build that rapport.

I know you are trying to help us but with one person going telling the other how awesome I am really derails the object of the video. I can clearly see how Vanessa sees herself as awesome and anything her friend or colleague is going to say will add to her ego

There seems to be a discrepancy in your consistency. You mentioned that your openness score requires your employee to keep you on track and bring you back to the current project. However, you later stated that your high N scores suggest you need assurance that the details are being managed and the project is under control. These are conflicting viewpoints. A more detailed and nuanced approach should be considered.
