I just made it today. I am not by any means an artist. I was able to do it and the drawing came out beautifully. It took me quite some time around 4 hours but the result is unbelievable. Thank you.

Love how you rendered the wispy textured white clouds in the middle. I jumped to the end of the video when I first pulled it up and saw the beautiful nebula white smoke you crafted, so I searched out that part of the demonstration. Learned a lot from watching you - apply carefully,/gently (making sure the forms are sleek abstractions), then evaluate, finally soften. Then apply again (brighter value), evaluate, soften... ect. Beautifully done. subbed

Wow this is beautiful. I used to be into pastels in middle school. I was pretty good for a 7th grader. When i went to high school my art teacher refused to give me my work and kept it in class. I got mad and never used em again. But saw this video and went out and got a box. Going to give it another try at 33. I just draw and sculpt so I'm looking forward to getting into something new. Ty its beautiful. Your very talented.
My high school teacher did the same with a sculpture i did in advanced art. I guess its still on display in the glass case when you walk in the school. My aunt, my brother , and I have our names on a plaque outside the advanced art room along with a lot of other names threw out the schools history. I did call years ago and asked them if it was still on display and after a yes gave them my email and asked if they ever plan on replacing it if i could have it back. I've gotten lazy over the years with art because of kids n house work. Sorry so long lol I dont have many ppl to talk art with so thought id post 😶

I've never used pastels before (we haven't gotten to them in class yet) and wasn't sure if they could do what I wanted. But after watching your demonstration I think they'll be perfect! I love your art and am inspired to start my own!
Blick pastels are like gold, you just have to find them first. The only sure way would be to find an outlet in the US, but even that has it's limits, but I'd be prepared to pay extra with shipping. Unless anyone has a better option. What do you think, Melissa? I would get either a 15 or 30 set.
Thank you! I don't spray my pastel art with any fixatives as they tend to alter the colors. This kind of paper (Pastelmat) is better than some other brands at holding onto the particles of pastel, so it isn't as easy to smudge by accident. I either frame the artwork, or if I'm not ready to frame, I lay the artwork flat in a box with a sheet of glassine underneath and on top of the art. Glassine is a transparent paper that protects the art and doesn't smudge when rubbed against it. Hope that helps! :)
I tried to paint this, I had a hard time blending the colors, but it actually turned out pretty good💕. When I painted this... I didn't watch the whole video, instead I just looked at the photo and then tried to put different colors in my painting... Thankss❤💙🌌

You can add stars by taking a paint brush and use your finger and flick the brush threads use white paint, overall good painting

White gel pen for stars 🌟 🤩
White gel pen won't stick too well to soft pastel (it's dusty!), but you could probably use it on oil pastel or colored pencil art :)

Thank you! I don't spray my pastel art with any fixatives as they tend to alter the colors.
