All these are true! One of the most difficult times of being a pilot is getting a pilot job. Doesn't matter kung airline or gen av, parehong mahirap humanap ng trabaho. Especially pag bagong tapos ka sa flying school na mababa ang oras. Experience ang lagi hinahanap. Kaya sa lahat ng aspiring pilots, student pilots at sa mga PPL at CPL na katatapos lang ng training, please be patient during these times, and don't stop dreaming. Tulad nga ng sabi ni Capt Genesis, "You are already there, trabaho na lang ang kulang"

I stumbled on one of your vlogs a month ago and from there up to this very inspiring content of yours, I'm beginning to realize the reasons why you are where you're standing right now in terms of piloting and principles. Not every human being is gifted to be naturally behind a yoke/side-stick yet with hard work and perseverance/resilience, anyone can land the job of being an airworthy airman. You are a great, living example of the Pinoy resiliency and its power...I saw that in your videos especially when you speak about factual tidbits of your profession. I have a few family members and relatives in the same industry as yours and although the ways they achieved their goals are different from yours, you share the same positive mindset with them and I believe aspiring pilots should try to take in as much of your words as possible. There's a saying in aviation: "You must plan your flight and learn to fly your plan". And speaking also with regards to the flight plan of life, you did yours proficiently and with inspiration. I wish you more blessings, more flight hours, and more people's lives to touch with your stories of determination and owning your dreams. The aviation world needs more people like you. =)

Capt., your dream to become a pilot is the same as with my brother. He, like you, become a military pilot with the Air Force ans currently flying AgustaWestland AW109 helicopter. Although his path to become a pilot had been, I shall say easy because of the circumstance that he is really dedicated and confident, I know that the path to becoming a pilot is hella difficult. And we see now the fruit of your hardships. Thosr hardships are our inspiration to do better every day.

I really wanted to become a pilot as a child, but it seems impossible because we're very poor and I already accepted it when I failed to apply at Philsca (for their scholarship) after graduating from SHS. Now that I graduated with a degree in civil engineering, I'll consider applying to the paf. hopefully, I'll get accepted. Keep safe always, sir, and continue inspiring others.

Very inspiring ang journey nyo captain jc... i believe every pilot or those who are aspiring has their own story...some how somewhere in their lives may nakita or naka experience sila ng moments na magtutulak sa kanila to become one...i remember my son told me he wants to fly and he wnts to become a pilot, he was 3 yrs old that time as far as i can remember. Everytime im driving our car he wants to seat beside me and he always tell me that he was my co pilot...then he finished a 5 year degree w honor and now hes counting flying ours alredy and preparing to achieve his goal...thanks captain jc because of your story i m witnessing my son that hes in the right path. Gusto ko talaga maging piloto since elementary ako pero mismong pamilya ko sinasabi na d nila kaya ang babayaran kasi si papa construction worker lang tas si mama nasa bahay lang kaya kahit ganun sisikapin koparin . Salamat po captain nakaka inspire. Grade 11 na ako pilot padin gusto ko at sisikapin ko din yun maabot.
Same din po Capt. Tuwing uuwi po kami para mag bakasyon sa ZAMBOANGA na iinspire po ako sa tuwing na kikita ko po mismo ang mga piloto kasi namamangha po talaga ako sa tuwing nakikita ko at ako mismong nakakasakay sa mga naglalakihang at nag gagandahang mga eroplano. Isa din po kasi sundalo ang papa ko sa paf po. Lumaki rin po kasi ako sa base. Bali laki talaga ako sa base atsaka sa tabi ng tinitirahan namin may park po dun ng mga lumang eroplano bali mga display na lang po sila. So yun sinasama din ako ni papa sa mga trabaho niya po sa aircraft din po kasi work ni papa. So yun parang pinangarap ko na lang din someday magiging piloto din ako. Pangarap din kasi ni papa maging piloto dati kaso hindi din kinaya dahil nga sa sinabi mo po na mahal talaga gagastusin ng pag pipiloto. Tuwing pasko uuwi po kami para magbakasyon sa zam. Lagi po kasi namin sinasakyan c-130 po. May time din po na kailangan na kailangan na po namin maka uwi dahil may klase pa po ako kaso nahirapan po kami baka kasi hindi kami makasakay. May isang piloto dun ng c-130 na bait na pinasakay parin kami. So yun parang nabuhayan talaga ako non tas tinatak ko na sa puso't isipan ko na gustong-gusto ko talaga maging piloto, gusto ko rin yung ginagawa nila. Nag seserbisyo po sila sa bansa... 15 y/o palang po ako I STILL DREAMING SANA MATUPAD KO PO TALAGA PANGARAP KO NA MAGING ISANG PILOTO 😇🙏💙
Pangarap ko na maging piloto bata pa lang ako, hanggang ngayon. Iba talaga pag passion na ang pinaguusapan kahit lumaki ka na eh nagliliyab parin. Eto ako ngayon graduate ng pagging seaman pero andoon padin ung pangarap ko na maging Piloto. Malaki man ang agwat ng dagat at himpapawid eh atleast nagkikita silang dalawa😂. Hi sir! My father is also a military and I actually got an exam from PMA way back 2017 but unfortunately I didn't pass. I am now in my 3rd year college and I am still planning again to take the PMA exam after I graduate. I just want to thank you sir for the word of encouragement.
Nangarap akong maging Piloto noong 3 years old ako, ngarap din akong maging astronaut noong 4 years old ako. Now I studying Astronomy major in space technology, lots of maths mula umaga hangang gabi, gaya niyo rin po ako na hindi magaling sa calculus. Gusto ko maging dalawa para scientist and also a Pilot. Sobrang namamangha talaga ako sa mga bagay na lumilipad, gaya dati first time kong makakita ng eraplanong sobrang baba ng ng lipad, nagsisigaw ako kahit mukhang tanga hahahahahaha. Since I was a kid pinag-aralan ko na po ang basics ng physics of flying, history, etc. Hangang ngayon. Nasa punto na ako ng buhay ko na nahihirapang pumili kung ano ba talaga ang gusto ko. Sana pwedeng parehas na scientist at piloto.

Gusto ko talaga maging piloto since elementary ako pero mismong pamilya ko sinasabi na d nila kaya ang babayaran kasi si papa construction worker lang tas si mama nasa bahay lang kaya kahit ganun sisikapin koparin . Salamat po captain nakaka inspire. Grade 11 na ako pilot padin gusto ko at sisikapin ko din yun maabot.
Same din po Capt. Tuwing uuwi po kami para mag bakasyon sa ZAMBOANGA na iinspire po ako sa tuwing na kikita ko po mismo ang mga piloto kasi namamangha po talaga ako sa tuwing nakikita ko at ako mismong nakakasakay sa mga naglalakihang at nag gagandahang mga eroplano. Isa din po kasi sundalo ang papa ko sa paf po. Lumaki rin po kasi ako sa base. Bali laki talaga ako sa base atsaka sa tabi ng tinitirahan namin may park po dun ng mga lumang eroplano bali mga display na lang po sila. So yun sinasama din ako ni papa sa mga trabaho niya po sa aircraft din po kasi work ni papa. So yun parang pinangarap ko na lang din someday magiging piloto din ako. Pangarap din kasi ni papa maging piloto dati kaso hindi din kinaya dahil nga sa sinabi mo po na mahal talaga gagastusin ng pag pipiloto. Tuwing pasko uuwi po kami para magbakasyon sa zam. Lagi po kasi namin sinasakyan c-130 po. May time din po na kailangan na kailangan na po namin maka uwi dahil may klase pa po ako kaso nahirapan po kami baka kasi hindi kami makasakay. May isang piloto dun ng c-130 na bait na pinasakay parin kami. So yun parang nabuhayan talaga ako non tas tinatak ko na sa puso't isipan ko na gustong-gusto ko talaga maging piloto, gusto ko rin yung ginagawa nila. Nag seserbisyo po sila sa bansa... 15 y/o palang po ako I STILL DREAMING SANA MATUPAD KO PO TALAGA PANGARAP KO NA MAGING ISANG PILOTO 😇🙏💙

Pangarap ko na maging piloto bata pa lang ako, hanggang ngayon. Iba talaga pag passion na ang pinaguusapan kahit lumaki ka na eh nagliliyab parin. Eto ako ngayon graduate ng pagging seaman pero andoon padin ung pangarap ko na maging Piloto. Malaki man ang agwat ng dagat at himpapawid eh atleast nagkikita silang dalawa😂. Hi sir! My father is also a military and I actually got an exam from PMA way back 2017 but unfortunately I didn't pass. I am now in my 3rd year college and I am still planning again to take the PMA exam after I graduate. I just want to thank you sir for the word of encouragement.
As long as there is still opportunity for you to get closer to your goal the only limit you have is the one you are setting yourself.

Nangarap akong maging Piloto noong 3 years old ako, ngarap din akong maging astronaut noong 4 years old ako. Now I studying Astronomy major in space technology, lots of maths mula umaga hangang gabi, gaya niyo rin po ako na hindi magaling sa calculus. Gusto ko maging dalawa para scientist and also a Pilot.
Sobrang namamangha talaga ako sa mga bagay na lumilipad, gaya dati first time kong makakita ng eraplanong sobrang baba ng ng lipad, nagsisigaw ako kahit mukhang tanga hahahahahaha. Since I was a kid pinag-aralan ko na po ang basics ng physics of flying, history, etc. Hangang ngayon. Nasa punto na ako ng buhay ko na nahihirapang pumili kung ano ba talaga ang gusto ko. Sana pwedeng parehas na scientist at piloto.
