jesse!!! great great vid, love the insight as always. a random video suggestion, i think you should give yourself more headroom in the shot! like backing up and letting the frame breathe a bit, i think like a chest up shot would feel more free and breathable, if you have the room. just a suggestion !!!

Ultimately, I want to design for skateboard decks. I've worked the corporate life for years, and it isn't for me; it's not my style.
I loved designs so much I ended up making a career out of it. And now I’m drained and there’s no passion left 😢. So yeah be realistic and have a boundary between ur passion and ur career.

When you are making your graphic design portfolio would you say to only show your finished work in the end, or should you show your entire process for example do you show your sketches and brain storm words and mood boards? Would that help to land a graphic design job when applying and showing them your portfolio?
Hi Jesse. I have been tasked with creating a design for my niece 🎉. Her mother wants it to be 18x24. How do I create this so that when it’s time to print it will print out correctly. I’ll be using Figma to create the design
Dont worry about AI, if anything you can use it to help with your work (ideas, rough drafts etc.) But its not going to replace designers any time soon.
Today is where you use a computer and design software to create art, you can create for commerce, film, photo, etc. All on computer or on a tablet with digital pen. Depending what you wanna be or do with art. Van Gogh only sold 1 paint @ $2,000 in today exchange. After he died, just one of his paintings runs for 1 or more millions. His potatoes heads painting runs $50 million.
