- Mickey gets his hands dirty with the Top Rank team! In this episode Mickey shops for some performance parts, begins modifying his Stagea, and visits a Daikoku car meet. I work for Mazda and I tell people about the absolute attention to detail in our cars because of the pride Japanese workers take in the finished product. It truly is remarkable just how humble, kind, and helpful they seem to be.
It's the culture over there they are so proud of their work in all aspects. Mad respect to the Japanese!!!!

Japanese guys with R34 M-Specs will let you sit in the car and tell you what you want to know about it. Everyone appreciates everyone else’s car. The Stagea community is all about hanging out together and meeting up.

I had the same experience with Japanese Culture and how kind they are as you did Mickey. It was absolute culture shock when I had to walk past road work on a sidewalk. The entire crew stopped working, bowed to me, and escorted me and my friend around the work zone. This work zone wasn't big at all and I could have easily walked past it without ever making eye contact with them. But they made sure to escort us. It was insane.
Yea man. It's a very polite way of life there. I love it and suits me quite well.

Been living in Japan for 8 years now. The kindness and generosity of the Japanese continues to warms my heart. This is how they work and they will always exceed your expectations and do it with such dignity and grace!
Man talk about a dream trip. Even when things went sideways, the fact that you were in Japan meant that it became a meaningful chapter in your journey. One day I plan to visit Japan, even if only to appreciate in person, the culture that has touched my life in so many ways.

Having owned 3 wagons myself, i can already tell im going to love this build.
This is one of the best builds in a long time. 1) not another WRX. 2) I lived in Japan and always wanted a stagea 260RS. Hell, I would have taken a RWD one with with an RB25 and a manual. This build tugs at my heart. Love it!
Kudos to Top Rank for helping you get ya legal and safe to drive in their country. The care they showed should be told to everyone who works with JDM vehicles. I would trust them if I were to ever get a vehicle from Japan. Top Rank is Top Notch

This is what I admire about Japan! People take pride in their work and actually care. The fact that they stayed late to make sure you have proper tires so you are safe on the road speaks volumes. I can't wait to visit that country!

the Japanese staying up late to make sure you get back safely. That's just standard japanese people's hospitality, care and kindness. It's one of a kind experience that the ENTIRE world could learn a lot from them.

As someone that lives in Japan I can say upgarage is the bomb! I live on Okinawa (not mainland japan) but we have one small store here and even for being small they always have something I want/need!

I miss my Stagea. That was a great video but also sad that I could not bring mine home. It was in 2012 when I left Okinawa but It feels like yesterday I was driving down the Okinawa Expressway.
