The Shock & Awe LED lighting kit can be used on any motorcycle with a 12-volt system. It doesn't matter the make or year of the motorcycle as the kit is very universal. The Ciro 3D Fork Mounted Illuminators will work on 2000 and newer FL Harley-Davidson touring models. This is due to the fact that they are shaped to specifically bolt onto those years/models.
Note: The Fork Mounted Illuminators are an add-on and not required to get up & running with the Shock & Awe kit.
The Ciro 3D LED lighting kits come with everything you need for the install. There are the LED light strips, wire extensions, splitters, control/power/Bluetooth box, control knob, 3M double sided sticky tape, and dialectic grease. Ther are additional bolts, washers, and nuts for the Fork Mounted Illuminators.
Your first impression when opening up the box is that the product is "quality". Everything is packaged well. The LED light strips, wires, extensions, and splitters are thick. Other motorcycle LED light kits out there on the market can be very cheap and thin, thus whey won't last. The light strips are sealed very well, so moisture will never be a problem.
My favorite thing about the Ciro 3D Shock & Awe kit is that you can add to it later if you like. Every LED strip you put on your bike has another plug on the end to continue on with another LED strip. The main Bluetooth power block has two channels coming out of it. We hooked channel 1 to run the left and right side of the motorcycle and channel 2 to run our front Fork Mounted Illuminators. With the awesome Ciro 3D Shock & Awe intuitive smartphone app, we can have our front wheel LED's a different color/pattern than the main bike LED's.
There is also a control know that you can mount in a convenient location for controlling different colors and modes of lights. However, the smartphone app allows even more control and makes the LED's programmable.

Running at engine temp though, how would the adhesive withstand right above the engine?.. Do they just fall off after a while?.

So I have a different but similar set up. It has the switch on the all no hard switch. I'm curious to know what would I do you have the controller powered only when have the ignition or kill switch on.

Nice vid. I just installed lights on mine today. I didn't like the way the way your strip on the left side tank looked and swore I wouldn't do that. Well there just isn't any other place to put it so had to go that route. Doesn't look bad when the bike is on the ground though.

great video.. but $300 for an led kit now a days is highway robbery..
that kit costs about $25 to make and you can find similar/identical kits on amazon for $30/$50 ....
dont waste you're money...
But what is the difference between a $50 kit and a $300 kit??? My biggest concern is when I go for service and if they need to remove the gas tank will they F it up or not. Probably have to disassemble all the lights before taking it in...

What year Street glide are you installing the lights on?
Bought the Fork Mounted Illuminators but my fender bolts seem to be different on my 2009 Ultra Classic. Please help with any advice you may have so I can mount these on my bike. TIA

is there any way to splice this unit so it connects to my accessory plug instead of my battery? i would love to just use my accessory switch on my inner faring
I'm looking for led lighting, which attaches to the wheel, not the fork. a stator brush, proper mounting... i know they exist. any help would be so appreciated.

Word of advice: Check with your states laws regarding installing these lights on your bike. It is illegal to display them in Maine. Ask me how I know. Checking first might save you some $$.
This channel is great but Ciro3D Shock and Awe kit only left me out $500, plus install money, for about 3 weeks of lights working. I also get to figure out the short the kit has made in my brake lights.

How would I do this in a ‘23 Nightster?
some kits have a tie in to the brake lights, so when u push the brakes, all the LED lights go red, turning your bike into one big brake light. with that being said, if you have LED lights in the front or under your fender, what is the legality of having red lights being on in the front of your bike?
Hello Ryan I have led lights on my 2016 street glide and I notice yesterday I was riding turned my led lights on and saw that a stripe was out by the pipes, now all the rest work great, can you tell me is that easy fix or not? thanks for your time.

Love the fork lights. Close to ordering the whole thing. Question! I dont have a bagger. Can or do I need the fork light kit for both wheels if I have a Lowrider and want too illuminate both wheels? Is that hardware appropriate for both or only designed for front? Possibly I would imagine you light up the back wheel on a softail lowrider differently. Any advice on what to order will be great. I will return the favor and order everything for law abiding website. Thank you

Yah, this kit would work on any make/model. It is sooo universal. We're installing it on several other Harley non-touring. You'd be fine with the Shock and Awe, but of course have to figure out where you wanted to stick the light strips etc......in our store you can add different extensions and light strips to fit your needs. We don't use them while riding down the road. It's not allowed in WA State.

Instead of the battery connection, can't you use the battery charging connector under the left side cover?

Yes. We installed the Shock and Awe kit with bluetooth controller along with the front for illuminator.
The kit that I found online does not include the 2x12" strips. Is there a different 2.0 kit out there?

No, they come multi colored, but you can chose the color or colors you want to display.

I think it'd look bad ass. Don't have one to test on right now though.
Any issues with battery drain
They are LEDs and use very little power. With that said I wouldn't run them for hours with the bike turned off.

Wondering if the is a way to wire your lights with key ignition power???
I'm sure you could wire it to switched power. Directly to the battery allows you to turn them on with the ignition off.

Great Videos. Does Washington State have laws about having blue lights on the bikes?
Just a heads up here...Check with your Local & State laws on using these lights in FLASH mode. Here in Ohio you can't use Flashing Red or Blue lights on a vehicle or you can be stopped...

I'm in ohio and mine when I hit the brakes all 8 strips turn solid red but not flashing. Now I know what I can't have on the bike i.e. flashing

No, they are heat resistant and designed to be placed under the tank and above the engine.

They must be cheaping out now days...kit does not contain the extension wire so now I got it all hooked up but can't plug them into the module unless i order and wait for the extension...ripoff kinda for the price
Does anyone think they're pointless to buy for a blacked out engine? Just wondering if I should waste my money
They would still light up the bike, but you obviously wouldn't get the reflection off the chrome.

Amazon ones do the same and are cheaper
No warranty and you'll get zero help if/when they fail. But true, you'll save a few bucks up front.
Those wheel lights don't do much.
Theyre BadAss on a Custom bike but a stock motorcycle... no, theyre lame. Lol
