Brilliant bit of advice from Ben. Just a bit of copy knowledge for anyone looking. Benefits are essentially what your product does FOR your customer. How does it help them achieve what they want to? How does it make their life easier? Etc. Always keep that in mind. What does your product do for your customers?

I will use ads to distribute my survey which aims understand social policy choices of individuals as I am studying political science. I chose the special ads category. Yet, there is another issue. Facebook might think I am advertising on behalf of a certain party or a policy. Can I say ''we want to hear your opinions'' or ''we want to hear your opinions on social policies'' then, ''please contribute our scientific research'' in primary text? Would Facebook ban my ads just for using 'your or 'social policies' words in primary text? People warn about the use not only of 'policy' word but also 'your' word.

Hi Ben, where can you analyse the performance of the different primary text options? Do you have to select dynamic creative to analyze this? It's possible to do an analysis on ad level, but I don't see an option to check this on primary text level?

Hey Ben, I'd like to know your on the same as well! As for your second question, I believe in terms of Conversions campaigns, it simply depends on getting enough conversions to allow the ad to exit the learning phase, doesn't necessarily depend on the extra primary text, as far as I understand.

When I place a link in the primary text (in addition to the regular ad link), which points to the same landing page ... do I have to write UTM parameters in this link again, or are they applied to this link automatically if I set them once in the tracking section of the ads page? You can do if you want but I limit myself to 3 or 4 regular ads in an ad set. As you say, the more variables you add the longer optimisation takes.

We've tested that a ton and it seems quite hit and miss. Worth testing but I would expect it to work quite well or not at all.

Best thing is to have a look at the preview at the ad level in Ads Manager :)
